That's the whole thing with DC and sometimes Marvel.

They paint these BIG BAD motherfuckers...then they get defeated by some stupidity.

DC came out with some books awhile back called "Legends of Dead Earth" in the annuals of all of it's titles.

Basically, all of the heroes and earth are dead but their legends still live on in the people that fled to the stars looking for new homes.

Each book had a different time frame...1,000 years later, 4,000 years later....one of them was 60,000 later...this dude Superman still alive and fighting villi ans with a shit-eating grin....GTFOH. Outside of that "WHAT!? 9000" book the rest were solid.

PRIME was the full-retard strength of Superman aka What his original powers were before Crisis.

They use to have Superman pushing Suns and planets every Wednesday before he went on movie nights with Lois.

You think I am shitting you...Read "Planet Stealer" where Superman is THROWING planets like ninja stars in the bonus stage of Shinobi at a villian.
