i remember people asking how the flag was waving on the moon with no wind
i remember people asking how the flag was waving on the moon with no wind
Or footprints with no gravity
wow...some truly uninformed opinions in here.
we went to the moon as part of the ARMS race, in competition with the U.S.S.R. and People's Republic of China. they tracked us with radar, they watched our every move. if the moon landing had been faked, they would've said it first.
man, i'm starting to think the whole world is going crazy.
so china and the ussr had technology to track us to the moon?wow...some truly uninformed opinions in here.
the flag wasn't moving in space, it was held up by a wire in the top of the flag.
we CAN do it now, there just isn't much of a reason to.

if there was wind that strong on the moon the astronaughts would get blown awaywind isn't comprised of oxygen only.....especially when yo get to higher altitudes, the less oxygen there is. the higher you get....the more the air is comprised of nitrogen and helium and other gases that we cant breathe. im not sure what atmospheric pressure the moon is comprised of....but if there are gases, then there can be a breeze....which explains why the flag was wavin imho.

how you gon' lose the only video of man ever going to the moon? this landing stuff is bullshit.
Bgol forces you to learn new shit every day.....just did some reading up on the moon......has no wind....no atmosphere. i dont give a fuck about the moon no mo....unless there are hoes there.

they really do think most people are stupid, the sad thing is many really are.
Like I've said since I was a teenager, either they never went to the moon or they go everyday! why no second mission in decades, MANY MANY years?
most mufuckkas just dont think about shit like that...
Thnak's for the post.
Do you understand the purpose and motivation for going in the first place, the sheer cost, and the benefit (if any) gained for doing so?
Yes... your referring to the "space race" correct? but to "go" only once no matter the cost, just doesn't seem logical or sane. Even for militaristic, scientific or economic (potential resources) purposes...
Read what you said again, what? The only purpose to go was for bullshit reasons in the first place. It cost a lot and there was hardly a benefit. To go again, regardless of costs and benefits, would be even more nonsensical than the first time. They wouldn't even get to brag and that's more resources down the drain with no return. It would make sense, only, if they had a logical purpose, there were potential benefits, and the cost wasn't to relatively steep. They have multiple reasons now, which is why it's an intended mission for the future.
The western mind/man has always had the inclination to dominate and expand, I dont see any reason why the moon would be different.
control of the moon could easy translate to control the world. Unless NASA and various other agencies have no interest in that, I think they "go" all the time or "cant" go...not trying to get into a heavy debate, but that's my genuine perspective on the topic.
