(Men Only) Why do you post on SOL?

There is a cool vibe over here . . . Often one can find an engaging topic of conversation or debate over here with intelligent thoughts and comments . . .

The women here are cool and the board has "less" drama than the main board most of the time . . .

Plus, it wouldn't be fair with only one (female) viewpoint would it? :lol:

So, men of BGOL, what first led you over to posting on SOL and what KEEPS you posting on it?

My main reason is I prefer to chat with women as opposed to men. I've never been or wanted to be part of an all boys club. I've never been one that needed approval or acceptance from the guys. I'm my own man.Want to call me a loner that's fine I'm good with that.

The main board is loaded with immature guys who do nothing but complain. Many are disrespectful of black women, their race and even themselves.

When SOL started I began posting here. The topics that are posted here usually can be discussed without the usual BS that's commonplace on the mainboard. Besides a woman's view on matters can sometimes bring a whole new perspective on dealing with matters of relationships.

As for the new names appearing here it probably has much to do with some of what I summarized above. Plus the mainboard is getting boring. Many of the personalities that made the board fun in years past no longer post there.

As for the gossip claim nowhere on this planet is there more gossip than on the BGOL mainboard. I don't see it as much on this board. But if Oprah got her pubs trimmed the mainboard would have to discuss it.
 
I think I've made maybe 3 posts on this side but after all the male somebody done me wrong shit over on the main board maybe it's time to spend more time over this side.

Any ladies up for an discussion/debate on the string theory, in particular the part quantum mechanics plays.
 
I post on SOL cause it's a different flow on this side, and conversing with the ladies is never a bad thing also the fellas on this side all seem like minded so its a win - win situation for me.

I just don't want this to be a place that survives simply because of male presence...I love the male presence here and enjoy the debates, as they come, but I definitely want to see more involvement from different ladies (no offense to the regulars) ...
