The Notorious Movie

You are too dumb. If you don't know what Jimi did for rock, you are not qualified to discuss music outside of rap.

By the way...the guy that owns Virgin Records and Virgin airlines never made it pass the 8th grade...so again...you have no grounds.

Jews own and run the music industry. Lyor Cohen, The Mays brothers...for somebody who pretends to be so knowledgeable, you don't seem to know much.

What does being Jewish have to do with anything, other than being a convenient target for stupid bigots?

(In fact, Christians are far more prominant in the business, not that that matters either.)

Dumb ass....I know, but if you don't know what Prince have done for the industry...you are not qualified to discuss music...ever

And I can go to any genre of music...the difference between you and I is I understand...you just know of and have feeble minded opinions.

I am not one of these young guys...you think you're talking to.
So please, try again.

If I can stoop down to your level and you cannot even reach mine what does that tell you.

Besides....if I was so ignorant or unknowing then why entertain commenting back?

That would mean you are the stupid one. That's why I was toying with you while still dropping jewels that obviously went over your head.

AND YOU STILL CAN'T FIGHT THE NUMBERS....so what is the point you are trying make in all this?

Don't waste your time with this asshole...let me continue to rip him to shreds. He only has his opinion which means nothing or someone else on here would have backed him a long time ago.:lol::lol::lol:

biggie wasn't a thug but he had to play that role as one to get street cred just like alot of rappers now. 2Pac was a real thug.

Tupac was a middle class kid who went to the school of performing arts. I saw a video he and Jada Pinkett made lip-syncing... get this... "Parents Just Don't Understand."

Okay, I see. You're another dumbass who doesn't know anything about music so you define success by dollar amounts and then constrain those success to rappers. well I don't. Now you've brought R&B in, so here's some numbers for your ass:
Michael Jackson - Thriller - 27x Platinum. Not rap music.
Whitney Houston - The Bodygurad soundtrack - 17x Platinum Not rap.
Mariah Carey has had 2 CDs to go 10x Platinum
Boys 2 Men II - 14X Platinum
Outkast - 11x Platinum
Stevie Wonder, Usher, TLC, MC Hammer - all went 10x Platinum as well.
Stop trying to front like B.I.G. is the biggest thing in history. The difference? All of these people minus Left Eye are still around to enjoy their successes.
Stevie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>every rapper in history.
Rap doesn't have a musical genius. You measure success by sales. I measure by quality. Holla at me when a rapper has a record on the level of "Songs In The Key Of Life" or "Talking Book".

Wow...again you think you're saying something.

Micheal...one album competes with almost every artist but is still behind Elvis and The Beatles cataolg...and it did sale and still is selling...but that's one album. Epic would have never stated that his album flopped when he did Invisible and it went over 3x platinum...but almost didn't cut it.

Next...all those that you've named have lived and released more albums than BIG...remember dumb-ass...he died during the release of his second album.

3rd...Out of all Mariah's CDs...only 2 went ten times platinum...what about the one that flopped or the bullsit movie she had "Glitter", Let's not forget...she didn't like rap and rap is what made her sell over 10 million copies! That's why Tommy made someone with no talent blow up bigger than her at that time (J-Lo)

All others that you've named had more albums out that contributed to those numbers....

Damn, how dumb can you be?

Y'all's blind hatred of BGOL's resident e-terrorist known as Blunt has allowed y'all to clown yourselves in this thread.

I got no interest in this movie, but the thing you all need to understand about critics is that they have seen 100x more movies than you, and have analyzed most of them.

That doesn't make their opinions "right." It means that if a lot of critics give it a good review, taking time to tell you how and why, and what the strengths and weaknesses of the movie were, that opinion carries weight.

That doesn't mean you'll like the movie.

Yeah, and well put.

But me and Mo's little beef right now has nothing to do with "Blunt." This started before his/her comment. The only thing Blunt stated at the time was the numbers and they are correct.

I'm address the fact that people should think before speaking their opinion. If you don't like the movie then good. If you like the movie then good. But don't shoot the movie down with opinionated facts...that's all I was saying because that contributes to division and segregation without knowing it. People can cause harm subconsciously and not know that they are doing so (being programmed). That's why I stated to Mo...about clearing the air.

But again...I feel you totally

u mean support FOX who distributes this movie?

no thanks

Fox Searchlight does an excellent job of distributing "specialty" films. Primarily indies and low-budget quality movies, like The Last King of Scotland and Juno. They're a good friend to the black man.

Pay to see the film, its worth it. Im willing to bet you paid to see that dead cracker Heath Ledger in Batman, but you cant support Hip-Hop? You cant support Black Filmmaking?

Brother took me and my cousin to IMAX in late-July for The Dark Knight. Part of my birthday gift.

I own TDK on bootleg dvd.

they had the wrong people playing the characters and biggie's life story just wasn't all that interesting. now I betcha if it was a 2Pac movie that would have done way better cause 2Pac story was more interesting.

maybe so, but who wants to see a movie about a faggot who turned gangsta rapper..:smh: fuck pac.. dude was a queer

As if you don't already make them rich in other ways everyday.

Fake-ass self-righteousness. Just admit that you'd rather steal than buy. Too cheap. :smh:

of course why go to the movies to watch some ignorant shit when i can download it for free.

because ignorance is entertaining at times and in doses

So you get to justify yourself either way. You can be both self-righteous (about something you haven't even seen) AND also a sell-out when you wanna be entertained. Nice standards.

Speaking of "ignorant shit." :smh:
