I'm not trying to diss you, but until I see Kakashi on an autopsy table, there is no way I'm believing he's totally dead. How many times have we seen the old 'Out of body experience' thing go down before some last minute revival?
TOO MANY. So I wouldn't write him off just yet. Plus having Pain, kill both Jiraiya AND Kakashi so close together doesn't seem to be Kishimoto's style. The have been comparatively very few Leaf Ninja deaths since the start of Naruto.
However, I'm no savant, so that might be the end of old Copy Ninja :-( but to me I expect during this conversation with his dead father, Konoha's White Fang will say something inspiring to his son about 'not giving in so easily' even though he may miss Obito and the other 'precious people' he has lost in his life, and that it's not 'his time to go'. Maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part however.
To be honest I always suspected that Sasuke would be the one to kill his old Sensei when he finally get's around to attacking Konoha with Team Hawk.
Also, I really, really hope that they don't do something lame if he does in fact die, like harvest Kakashi/Obito's Sharingan eye and put into someone else (especially not Naruto) bcus that would be waaaay too obvious and more than a little lame.
what would be REALLY interesting is if Pain absconds with Kakashi's body and uses it to replace one of his destroyed Chakra puppets.

Ultimate War is a comic book limited series produced by Marvel Comics featuring the Ultimates and the Ultimate X-Men. The series contains four books, released between December 8, 2002 and February 23, 2003. It was written by Scottish comics author Mark Millar with art by Chris Bachalo.
It is collected as part of the Ultimate X-Men series of trade paperbacks. This was the first time the Ultimates as a team had crossed over with characters from the Ultimate Marvel Universe.
Plot
Previously, the X-Men defeated Magneto and pronounced him dead. Rather than turning Magneto over to the authorities and virtually ensuring the death penalty for him, Professor X secretly brainwashed his old friend and tried to rehabilitate him. However, the Beast inadvertently leaked this plan to Magneto's Brotherhood, believing that he was chatting with an online girlfriend. The Brotherhood used this to entrap Beast and gained enough knowledge to free their leader.
Meanwhile, Iceman has left the X-Men, forced out by his worried parents after he sustained injuries in the fight against Proteus, while three more X-Men, Wolverine, Cyclops and Kitty Pryde, are on a mission to the Savage Land.
The US government is irate over Magneto's reappearance and demands explanations from Nick Fury. Fury and his Ultimates track down the Xavier Mansion, whose location was hitherto unknown, and find it empty, the X-Men having relocated. Nick Fury comes to the incorrect conclusion that the X-Men have joined forces with Magneto to fight mankind.

What info I do have is based off of a spoiler from an 6 month old post by Zei. This is what Kishimoto stated before the 2008 Jump Fiesta. I was skeptical of this at first but everything is coming to pass. I thought that Kakashi would come back but if he did (according to this spoiler), that would mean the Hokage would die & she is not going anywhere for a while. So with that said you can read this is if you want, but this is a spoiler so...

Not too much into the individual mags, but I definitely like this version of the Avengers. Where can I find a grab bag of issues? And also, I'd be interested in knowing where I could find more Squadron Supreme.[/B][/SIZE]

It picked up in Ultimate X-Men. There wasn't a direct miniseries. You may be able to find it in a search but I don't know what number it picks up from.
