Huge thanks for the original scanners and posters. Without their hard work and dedication to the craft none of what we see here would be possible. Thanks again

I thought this thread would've died when Linker left. It's good to see it still going. Big props to the posters keeping it going......................

this would've been better as one shots or mini-series until next year or 2010 at most to develop the whole baby storyline
this thing seems to drag month after month
there's another X event on 2010 i hope it has to do with the baby and Cable becausei don't think i'll be interested in this book after this storyarc :hmm:

I disagree,
I like the pacing of this book. It keeps you waiting to see what direction they will go in the next issue.
I do think that this will end up being a 12 issue mini series once they start the next x-event. How long can him and the baby run?
I like this one best out of all of the other X-Books.
The other ones have lost their heart.
Cyclops has become the old Cable and the X-Men are the old X-Force. :smh:
They have always been a family not a military unit.

Can someone put together all the Final Crisis comics? I cant get a bead on what to follow! Thanks!

Format

The first issue of Final Crisis went on sale May 28, 2008. Final Crisis is planned for seven oversized issues released over nine months starting in May 2008. Although there will be other projects alongside Final Crisis, the story will not crossover with any ongoing series.

Several one-shots and mini-series will be released that will tie in with Final Crisis:
DC Universe #0
DC Universe: Last Will and Testament (one-shot)[
Final Crisis #1 Director's Cut Special
Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds #1-5
Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns (one-shot)
Final Crisis: Requiem (one-shot)
Final Crisis: Rogues' Revenge #1-3
Final Crisis: Resist (one-shot)
Final Crisis: Revelations #1-5
Final Crisis: Secret Files (one-shot)
Final Crisis: Sketchbook (one-shot)
Final Crisis: Submit (one-shot)
Final Crisis: Superman Beyond #1-2
Justice League of America (vol. 2) #21

Grant Morrison has also said that a two-part story following the "Batman R.I.P." storyline will also "fit in" with Final Crisis. Also, in a move DiDio described as "inspirationally tied to Final Crisis", in early 2009 the villains will take over the main DC Universe titles and some will be featured in Faces of Evil, a series of one-shots, all designed to examine the question "What happens when evil wins?"

I dont know if this is a re-post but I figured this would be the place to post all the Black Panther News I heard.

LINK

First for some reason they are replacing T'Challa with a woman. Apparently Reginald Hudlin isn't happy just being a failure in Television he wants to replace one of the only strong black male political leaders in comics exactly when real life might make people interested in the character.

Secondly they have a voice for the Animated character Djimon Hounsou. I was sort of hoping for the guy who did Goliath from Gargoyles.:dunno:

Link

But back to them replacing T'Challa. Dammit this has got to stop they killed Captain and ruined Spidey. Now this..... Damn

THAT is some str8 rappinbullISH right there.

props 2 all the uploaders. thank you...

I have no idea why they are doing this I mean the Black Panther secret invasion storyline was crazy, They just married the character to storm. And Obama just won if there was ever a time to push advertising for the Black Panther it would be now. Marvel is just plain stupid.

Seems like the Panther is possessed in an issue I read recently.
Not sure if that ties into it or not.

A story about the First Family of Marvel, The Fantastic Four. A story on a galactic scale, imaginably told. Originally released in Dec of 2006 this incredible story, set decades into the future, enfolds over a six issue span to encompass many of The Fantastic Four's most staunchest allies, a couple of old enemies, a powerful threat from the past that plays an integral role in the turn of events at the edge of cataclysm, and a surprisng and treacherous alliance that could spell doom for humanity.

My one criticism is the same thing that occurs all too frequently about stories told in future tense; there are no significant roles afforded People of Color. Black Panther and Luke Cage make cameo appearances but neither play an integral role in the story's central theme.

Still, the entire chronicle is told with the usual flair and over-the-top bombast that we've come to expect from Marvel...an ingredient that DC has been trying with only median success to duplicate ever since Jack Kirby crossed over to create The New Gods nearly 40 years ago. Well written, well drawn and well plotted. It's a thoroughly enjoyable read, especially for those who crave action with good storytelling and a smattering of sentimentality. NN

^^^For some strange reason, Marvel Comics seem to have real problems sustaining strong, believable Black male superheroes without lumbering them with emotional crutches or other ridiculous character flaws.

From Luke Cage to Falcon, to Cable, the late lamented, Black Goliath, Blade and now Black Panther, superheroes of African/African American descent seem to be the fall guys of the comic book world.

Maybe it's time we the fans, begin to take it to these companies by protesting with our pockets.

If Reginald "BET" Hudlin wants to turn T'Challa into a booty shaking video hoochie then I say we boycott his shit until Marvel boot him back to BET.
