I was wondering when somebody would admit this, Joe took it easy on this broad plain and simple, and even worse let her get away with changing topics constantly! Shit was crazy, they would be talking about one topic and then when it came time for her to speak, she would only talk about whatever topics she wanted to completely ignoring the original topic, And then she dissed the Moderator, did anybody peep that shit?
Biden Failing does have more to do with the perception of things though, all his points were fact based so nobody can argue with that, but he let this bitch control the tone of the debate and allowed her to lie and even worse dodge questions completely. You can already see most of the media declaring this shit a win for Palin.
This debate was like fighting a retard. If he would have beat up on her, he would have been mean. If he would not have kept it even (although he subtly blasted her and made her not answer questions. And he had been holding on to that Maverick thing too long) and let her run away with it, he would look like he lost to a retard. I think he did the best thing possible, let her show the world that she can read her note cards well. She learned it in pageant school.

Neither Biden nor Palin did anything to hurt their ticket. Biden didn't come off condescending, and Palin didn't fuck up like everybody thought she would. She did have style points, but I don't think thats all I want in the White House. Palin's points were rehearsed, and to be fair so were Biden's; its politics. Palin avoided certain questions, which I found amusing. She also didn't explain how her ticket is different from the Bush administration. The polls don't lie, and they say Biden won. But I don't think this will change the national polls. This debate will be forgotten, and we'll be right back on the economy, and the upcoming debate between Obama and McSame on Tuesday.

There's a severe lack of intelligence in the American populace if style points count for anything... Joe Biden pretty much walked away with that victory, but since the media needs the ratings...they say that Palin held her own...bull-fucking-shit. This seesaw act that the media is playing needs to come to a halt. "We can't let 1 candidate get too popular with the people so we will talk up the underdog".
I saw some of the debate on my lunch at work and I'm about to watch the whole thing, but I would say "style points" is a valid item to bring up as it is a part of how these debates are judged. There are very few people, even on this board, that actually research all 4 candidates to really see what all their views are and have been in the past. More than half of you on here like Obama because he's black and don't know anything about his voting record or the other candidates.
With that being said, most of you should just keep it that way cause I do want you to go out and support Obama even if it is blindly.
