You have to go back and read the Illuminati books. They were all captured in a botched smack down with the Skrulls. After being captured they were tortured and had their dna sampled to make these clones. Maybe the whole skrull thing will explain away The Sentry.

This is a heluva game of Chess The Skrulls are playing. Don't want to give away the plot but this shit is deeper than just a mind game. About 25 years back I played on a chess board where 4 people could all play at the same time. This issue reminds me of that. From the 1st page to the last scene the whole issue was on some other ish. At the end the torture and then the subtlety right after was the ultimate 'good cop bad cop.' Even if the minds weren't the same :rolleyes:

That makes sense........... The skrulls using near perfect clones for their planning; coming up with counter measures against how some of the Illuminati would do.

But man, who's keepin up with the whole Crisis thing in DC? That Superman beyond was weird but kinda came through in the end (is the "book" that Ultraman is holding the Crime Bible that's running rampant on earth and somehow ties into Darkseid's return.)

I remember the posters with the villains winning and was wondering what's with all the Superman (one in the black was Superman Prime - who seems to have become a teenager again :eyesroll: and that other has got to be the Superman from the Kingdom Come saga.). And, did you all see what that virus did to Wonderman in the future when both Flashes (Wally West and - yep - Barry Allen) arrived there. DAMN, and poor Mary Mavel's lost her cot damn mind!

But in true DC form he will be instrumental in saving the day.

This latest "Crisis" is pretty sucky right now. But the Jump off is with the Legion of Three Worlds..

what book and issue was where Superman basically told everyone we're S.O.L., and F.U.B.A.R.?
So I take it that Superman is gonna factor into this as well also (in Infinite Crisis, Alex Luthor was asked why did he just simply kill Superman and he replied because he (Superman) started all of this......... (being that he's the first comic superhero.)?
