This man is a heartbeat away from the Presidency of the United States and we are worried about him being called a boy. On January 20th I just want to hear Bush's choice for Chief Justice of the Supreme Court call him Mr. President.
Jimmy Carter may be many things but he is not a racist. He has done more for humanity since leaving the White House than any other president in history.
Bill Clinton fought for his wife's political future like any other husband would and he was called a racist. He proved on last night that it is all a game and you have to lift your head and fight for what is right.
He not only ensured that Obama would be elected president but he made sure his wife will also be elected in 4 to eight years.
You can make a case that the term was poorly used. He should have been sensitinve and said this young kid grew up. I just beleive his intentions were not that of racisim.
The thing that bothers me is how we blow up when white men call a black man "boy" and every day I read where you guys refer to the most beatiful creature on God's green earth as "bitches".
I have two beautiful daughters and will spend the rest of my life in prison if I hear a man refer to any of them as "bitches". Respect your own race and yourself and maybe it won't matter what other's think or say about you as a race.

No one called Bill Clinton a racist for standing up for his wife. He was criticized heavily for injecting race into the primary once it looked like his wife was in trouble. Clinton is too smart to not know how his words would come across, especially since they came behind the racist comments of Ferraro and, like her, he never apologized or tried to explain them.
