Everybody know Em don't beef with cats like Wayne. I remember Wayne went at him talkin' about him and Sqad Up is like Pac and the Outlawz and not like Eminem and D-12. Em's a businessman. He's not Fif. He'll beef with NSync and Benzino but he doesn't go at dudes like Wayne.

I feel you, homie. Both delivered quality verses. But...I gotta go with Mathers on this one. I'll give Jay props for having the balls to release the song as is, though. There are alot of rappers who wouldn't have put it out if they thought for a second that they were being outshined on their own track.

renegade was actullay recorded BY eminem with royce 5'9 waaay before Jay got it,

it wasnt released Jay bought the track and recorded his verse, them Em re-recorded his verse

either way Em was naaaaaaasty on that track, its odd that sometimes Jay Z just get outshined by his costars (ie Big Pimpin and Bun B at least imo)

Im a down south dude, but the Marshall Mathers LP was classic. I was a Cash Money fan back when they had UNLV dissin Mystikal and everything, B.G. dropped Chopper City and the whole nine. Wayne has grown as an artist, but I dont think he has remotely come close to the effect of the Marshall Mathers cd and everything it brought. The majority of the Lil Wayne fans listen to the beat and accept slick punchlines as top lyrics, the new generation of rap and hip hop lacks story tellers, the only one I can think of who does that is Lupe Fiasco.
Note to these rappers: Stop making a song about money all the time, we getting sick of that shyt. In the club its cool, cause it is what it is, but when you ridin you cant listen to that shyt. Stop throwing money at the camera, its lame. We know that you spent your advance and you will end up looking like J-Kwon or the Franchise Boyz.
