if that were really the case it would be because of this:

In a recent interview with DJ Semtex, Lil Wayne was asked who he would like to work with but has yet to. After Weezy responded with unrealistic collaborations with the likes of Elvis and Sammy Davis Jr, he went on to discuss a more feasible collaboration that has yet to happen.

“I’ve never done a song with Eminem,” Wayne says. “I sent him a song and he ain’t do it. I didn’t like that but it’s all good. People be busy and stuff or a.k.a. just scared to get on a song with me.”

man fuck eminem and all you bootsy ass niggaz who still like/support him...... cuz he hates yo black asses and thinks you're all a bunch of ******S and MOON CRICKETS

Everybody know Em don't beef with cats like Wayne. I remember Wayne went at him talkin' about him and Sqad Up is like Pac and the Outlawz and not like Eminem and D-12. Em's a businessman. He's not Fif. He'll beef with NSync and Benzino but he doesn't go at dudes like Wayne.

no way! it was a tie

Em won the first verse and jay won the second verse

come on honestly listen again

"i had to hustle, back to the wall ashy knuckles, pocket filled wit a lot of lint, not a cent, gotta vent, lotta innocent lives lost on the project bench, what you hollerin? gotta pay rent, bring dollars in"

"do not step to me, im awkard i box lefty, an orphan my pops left me and often my momma wasnt home, could not stress to me i wasnt grown, specially on nights i bought something home to quiet the stomach rumblings, my demeanor, thrirty years my senior, my childhood didnt mean much, only raising green up"

I feel you, homie. Both delivered quality verses. But...I gotta go with Mathers on this one. I'll give Jay props for having the balls to release the song as is, though. There are alot of rappers who wouldn't have put it out if they thought for a second that they were being outshined on their own track.

I take it all back.

The lime life belongs to little wayne carter damu baby the third most definitely.

lol eminem would go double plat first week. with a single before release date.

Some of his record sales at the PEAK of his popularity were fuckin' ridiculous. Remember back in 2000? That shit was bananas.

"The Marshall Mathers LP is the second commercial and third overall studio album released by American rapper Eminem, released in 2000. Widely seen as his magnum opus, the album sold over 1.76 million copies in its first week, earning a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest selling rap album ever. It went on to sell over 21 million copies worldwide, earning critical acclaim, as well as considerable controversy and protest from groups such as GLAAD for its homophobic and violent lyrics."

I always liked this Em' cut from The Slim Shady LP in '99.

"As The World Turns"

" ... class clown freshman, dressed like Les Nesman ..."

"Hypochondriac ... hangin' out at the laundromat ... where all the raunchy fat white trashy blondes be at ... dressed like a sailor standin' by to a pail of garbage ... it's almost dark and I'm still tryin' to nail that trailer park bitch ... I met a slut and said 'wattup - it's nice to meet ya. I'd like to treat you to a Faygo and a slice of pizza ...'":lol::lol:

Yep. I've wondered for years how Jay could let Em murder him on his own track. Eminem won the "Renegade" debate years ago.

renegade was actullay recorded BY eminem with royce 5'9 waaay before Jay got it,

it wasnt released Jay bought the track and recorded his verse, them Em re-recorded his verse

either way Em was naaaaaaasty on that track, its odd that sometimes Jay Z just get outshined by his costars (ie Big Pimpin and Bun B at least imo)

Here's what Bun B had to say about his verse on Big Pimpin

BB: Sure. What about Jay-Z?

BB: Absolutely. Jay was intimidating to the point where I was totally intimidated before I even got to the booth. But I was like, this is going to be a test of my mettle. In the South, I’m regarded as the guy who, quote unquote, out-rapped Jay-Z. A lot of Southern rappers would say that. Not saying that I’m a better rapper than Jay-Z, but I was able to out-rap Jay-Z on a track. The reality is that I probably took that song [“Big Pimpin’”] a whole lot more seriously than Jay-Z. Because that was a lackadaisical, laid-back party track, and I attacked it. You know, for me, I’m a rapper. And I’m on it with Jay-Z.

BLVR: You’d better be hot.

BB: Yeah. In all fairness, I did hear it first. I got there and I realized he’s playing with it. Like, didn’t he even think to think that I would take into consideration the fact that I’m rapping with Jay-Z and might go—

BLVR: And try to devour him.

BB: Not even that much. Like, I know Jay-Z. The reason he called us to get us on the song was because of respect for what we do. So I know that he knows, on some level, in some form or fashion, that I tend to think of myself as a lyricist. And he had to know that, rapping on a song with Jay-Z, I was probably going to give it my all. But I don’t even think he thought that I was going to try to do anything, try to get my rap on. I honestly don’t think he took that song as seriously as I did.

BLVR: Let’s talk about that example in particular. When you heard his verse, how long did it take you to put yours down?

BB: Probably fifteen, twenty minutes. No longer than any other rhyme I’ve written. The hardest thing for me to do, as far as writing a rhyme, is figuring out how it’s going to go.

I never knew that...

Im a down south dude, but the Marshall Mathers LP was classic. I was a Cash Money fan back when they had UNLV dissin Mystikal and everything, B.G. dropped Chopper City and the whole nine. Wayne has grown as an artist, but I dont think he has remotely come close to the effect of the Marshall Mathers cd and everything it brought. The majority of the Lil Wayne fans listen to the beat and accept slick punchlines as top lyrics, the new generation of rap and hip hop lacks story tellers, the only one I can think of who does that is Lupe Fiasco.
Note to these rappers: Stop making a song about money all the time, we getting sick of that shyt. In the club its cool, cause it is what it is, but when you ridin you cant listen to that shyt. Stop throwing money at the camera, its lame. We know that you spent your advance and you will end up looking like J-Kwon or the Franchise Boyz.

not arguing wayne is better but i fucks wit wayne too and i would love to see that battle played out on wax.

verses from a fav. wayne song....

Un-fucking-believeable Lil' Waynes the President
Fuck 'em, fuck 'em, fuck 'em, even if they celibate
I know the game is crazy, it's more crazy than it's ever been
I'm married to that crazy bitch, call me Kevin Federlin
It's obvious that he'll be Cash Money till the death of him
The ground shall break when they bury him, bury him
I know one day they gotta bury him
Better lock my casket tight baby, so I dont let the devil in
Nigga, it's just me and my guitar, yea bitch I'm heavy metalin
You can get the fuckin Led Zepplin
Niggas is bitches, bitches, I think they full of estrogen
And we hold court and take your life for a settlement
Yes, I'm the best! And no, I ain't positive, I'm definate
I know the game like I'm reffing it
This is The Carter, The Carter 3, the New Testament
And I'm the god and this is what I bless 'em with

It's Cash Money over everything
It's in my blood I feel it running in every vein
I'm from the mud, I am a missile like a scud
Wuts really good? I'm bout that Ruckers like Fudd
And I stay on my floor at Cash Money like a rug
Tied to the fuckin Birdman like a lug
And Dear Mister Ronald williams...
To you, I shall forever give thanks like a pilgrim
Cash Money Million, heir to the throne
Going at they heads like hair in a comb
Sitting by the window I just stare at the storm
Know I'll make it thru it like hair in a comb
Yo, money over bitches, my niggas trust my senses
And I will take on that shit as the lord, as my witness
And you all have witnessed, but I have not finished
So keep your mouth closed and let your eyes listen

Last year they had the Grammys and left me in Miami
Sleeping on a nigga like I'm rapping in my jammies
I'm rapping when you sleep, I was rapping when u were in jammies
Mel Gibson flow, Leathal Weapon, Book 'em Danny
I'm a monster I tell you, Monster Wayne
I have just swallowed the key to the house of pain
Now I'm stuck here to deal with the house's pain
Fuck wit me I will peel like the house's paint
Lets go, Niggas doubt wont see me cuz I'm better and bold
The only time I wear depends is when I'm 70 years old
Thats when I cant hold my shit within, so I shit on myself
Cuz I'm so sick and tired of shitting on errybody else
I'm tryna tell ya, like I'm sayin sumthin
I'm from the dirty like the bottom of my pants cuffs
And there aint nuthin gon stop me so just envy it

yeah that shit is sick.
the only other REAL hip hop artist to get even halfway close to that was BIG, Pac ...and i think Dre and 50 got close also.
get rich did like 10 or 11. and one of dre's albums did like 9 or 10 i think

In case that didnt get you here is the rest

Em's Verse (Renegade,Blueprint):
See I'm a poet to some, a regular modern day Shakespeare
Jesus Christ the King of these Latter Day Saints here
To shatter the picture in which of that as they paint me
as a monger of hate and Satan a scatter-brained atheist
But that ain't the case, see it's a matter of taste
We as a people decide if Shady's as bad as they say he is
Or is he the latter - a gateway to escape?
Media scapegoat, who they can be mad at today
See it's easy as cake, simple as whistlin Dixie
while I'm wavin the pistol at sixty Christians against me
Go to war with the Mormons, take a bath with the Catholics
in holy water - no wonder they try to hold me under longer
I'm a motherfuckin spiteful, DELIGHTFUL eyeful
The new Ice Cube - motherfuckers HATE to like you
What did I do? (huh?) I'm just a kid from the gutter
makin this butter off these bloodsuckers, cause I'm a muh'fuckin

yeah after I heard this Em was no longer the white rapper to me, he was a muthafucka who could spit fire!
