I had to do a double take on that one as well. If he is lying for whatever reason it doesn't hurt anyone but him.
dont go !!! Its very small, high tuition, and the students dont go there to learn. Go to UA.
Enrollment at stillman continues to drop, and half the dorms are barely populated

... Very clique oriented, financial aid dept is among the slowest in the world, but ehh, good experience. I shoulda went to the other Hu though for real for real. Psychology dept had some great professors....ehh

I would say the exact same thing to nine out ten people. M.I.T. is world renown in research and has one of the largest endowments for a university in the United States.
Not just anybody can get into M.I.T. And anyone who just so happens to be somebody doesn't have a much of a chance at getting into M.I.T. either.
Damn my brother just got a football scholarship to go there. He had a chance to go to morehouse but his GPA was down. ill be down there often whats to do down there?
Playa, I really don't know much about Tuscaloosa. I've always thought it was a boring place, which is why I never wanted to go to school there.
I attended Southern CT State Univ. and i guess i would say it was cool to get an education but i if i had to do it all over again i would have went to black college!
during the fall there is always something to do. Delta,and Alphas throwin house parties. THe bars, etc
And if all else fails drive to Birmingham. I was up there at the City Stages concert this summer (bham has some dime sisters) Summer just sucks though, concert is the only thing Ive done all summer lol

University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG)... would recommend it
and it's true that HBCU's financial aid dept. sucks... Niggas at NC A&T used to hate when we got our refund checks in the beginning of the semester and their's aint come till like march or something

Xavier and Southern Louisiana, one of the best experiences I every had in my life...the food, women, culture and the education was great... People are always clowning HBCUs for stealing student loans...and yes Southern was on the bullshit too...but school is what u make it.
I would recommend either school with no problem.
recommend....not just for the sports since ours sucks right now (well b-ball and football, hockey team is good), the winters can suck too, other than that its cool
fuck the sports, IT'S MICHIGAN, that sells itself. One of the top public schools in the country. Right up there with UVA.

I'm in Birmingham. There's not much to do here either. Summertime in Alabama is a good time to get your head in your books. There's not much else left to do.
All you get after your 5 years of college, thats right 5 nigga you wont make it in 4 and thats if you make it off academic probation. All you get is a drug habit, a drinking problem, your first STD, your 1st abortion and most importantly debt. Credit Card and Student Muthafuckn Loan. i'm trying to convince him to go to ccny.. it's cheap, they have a good rep (in nyc @ least), they offer a bunch of majors, it's a decent ride from where we live, bitches from all walks of life, and most importantly...

The upper echelon of public school universities could be called Ivy Leagues in a sense (UVA, UCLA, CAL, UNC, etc)
VA has UVA for the more Liberal arts stuff, and Virginia Tech for the science. I'm Virginia Tech.

oh of course, top business program (undergrad & mba) believe its engineering is top too not fully sure...but a lot of ppl think of the athletics first when they hear michigan. out of state tuition is no joke though
V Tech campus is beautiful. Pepperdine is one of the best I have ever seen in my life though. Doesn't surprise me you're a Hokie.

How can Hampton University be considered the real HU when it was founded as Hampton Institute.
Most y'all niggas never heard of this small school in South Carolina called Claflin University. The best HBCU by far, went there for undergrad and Tuskegee for Masters. Peeps are right there's nothing to do in Bama but study especially if you aint got a car.
UVA is a really nice campus I have to say, but god damn, UVA has got to have THE snootiest students to ever walk this earth. They swear they are in the Ivy League. I mean year, your school is constanly in the top 3 of publics, but I'm about to kick your ass if you mention Thomas Jefferson again.

I have consistently heard that although I have never been there myself. My sister was able to get into UVA and she said she felt the same thing when she went there to visit the school. I continually hear that it is filled with privileged long money legacy white kids.
I couldn't attend a school like that. Even if it had a resounding reputation such as UVA.
