I have tested Tom Tom (while I feel feature and user wise is the best but lacks in graphics) Destinator and Igo8 which I have been testing since Saturday but I dont have all the components for the 3d capabilities of the maps when I do I will release it here.

Also check out the gps dir. on my server I have several different gps programs on there to use....Personally I like Tom Tom the best because when you are in the car you can easily interact with the interface without too many clicks everything is really easy and quick to get to plus the traffic service is (which you get to use for free for a month) is pretty much a cant live without feature. None of the other gps programs I have used have that feature ..although I hear Garmin has a traffic feature but the US map is hard to come by so I haven't found out for myself yet.

Yo,

For the PPC phones... most of use ActiveSync... and then some use another program to back up everything on the phone.... I forget the name...
do a search in this thread on "backup" should yeild something.

Wsup fam, I wanted to post something I found that was very useful to me...I've looked around here and I don't think its a re-post or not but here it goes.

I just finished upgrading my T-mobile dash to the new KAVANNA-WINDOWS MOBILE 6.1. I was getting tired of my Dash and was thinking of upgrading but now with all the new stuff that comes with the upgrade its sick , its like a brand new phone.

I dont sync at all. I use two backup apps on my device. Resco Backup and Sprite Backup. I schedule them both to do a backup during certain times of the day. In my device, i have an sd card and a cf card. Each card has 3 days worth of backups on them.

word...i do the same thing daily using sprite backup and SPB backup..and when I know I'm about to do something risky...I also use PIMbackup as my 3rd option

I know I am mad late but I have to ask....

What is the best OS to put on my htc 8525. I bought it on ebay with variation of WM6 (5.2.1437) which is okay but I am sure there is something better out there.....


also, what about games.....anything decent would be nice....

WM6 forum - whjere all the ROMs for your phone get placed...I used VPG's 3.62 rom on my old 8525

In Pocket Plus, after you put the regular icons on the screen, tap and hold the icon you want to change. A menu will pop up, just select change icon and it will bring up all the available icons. I dont have this on my device right now, so i cant give you a full explanation. But thats the jist of it.
