I'm blessed to have a job that has allowed me to travel all over the globe. Right now, I'm in Colombo, Sri Lanka. (That big island just off the tip of India). I'll be here until May 10th.

I just got back from taking a little walk here in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Here are some pics for y'all.

it is always interesting to observe cultural differences. Take a look at the picture where the lady has her children (i assume) on the beach she is damn near fully covered but she has her young son with no clothes on.

As a person who has been banned for some bullshit, I have a sore spot for this subject:

A) I coulda swore that GETYOUHOT, Femme, and LS were the mods in this forum and they, along with HNIC, were the only ones who could ban in this forum, UNLESS a boardwide rule (aka trannies or banned sites) were broken.

B) I've seen worse shit posted and let go on this very forum than "punk ass movements"

C) If we ban people for taking threads off-topic, I want people banned when they turn every FUCKING thread into a flirt-fest. That shit is the worst.

D) You've done this same thing before and you were wrong, why do it again?

E) In all honesty, YOU started it all and YOU ruined the thread with your post about how he should remove his pics of himself when they will go wild on the other side. Not everyone is as child-like in the mind as others. Also considering that there are many pics of men's faces on here, including a 10+ page thread on goatee's and locs and also that you, as a mod, should know that there is a rule that pics posted on SOL CANNOT be taken out of this forum and posted on another board without permission (see the L_Scorp fiasco).

F) What you should've done is let Femme or LS or GYH make the decision because you obviously have a hate-on for LoneStar and you constantly bait the line for arguments. Your bias in this situation is clear. You used your mod powers to ban someone that you don't like or that spoke against you. That is an abuse of power on the Moustacy level. It doesn't matter if it is only for 3 hours or whatever.

letting GP know what people do on this site was a fair friendly notification. he's one of those kats who didn't deserve that taking place so i let him know. how that started something negative with lone and doggish, i still fail to see because he never made comment to it. other people did which spewed out into a negative drawn out discussion. after you made your post:

Yeah, there were a few Muslim women there. One had her veil (burkha) fly off as she let her child play in the water.

Know what, Don, I realized some assholes are gonna hate. I've had it happen on other boards. I've gotten to the point where it doesn't matter anymore. Appreciate it, LD. I've been to other spots as well. Believe it or not, I was in Myanmar last September, when the monks were protesting. Now that country is trying to recover from a monster cyclone (hurricane). Maybe I'll post the pics I took.

I do regret not being able to see Iron Man before I left. I'll see it when I come back.

And for the person intersted in what I do: I do network systems. my company has a contract with the military to upgrade their network equipment. That's all I can say on it. So I'm working at the American Embassy here.

Da Don: most of the ladies here on SOL know what I look like. So I'm not worried about them going crazy with photoshop, ya know?

Trust me, I know all about BGOL's ockmeisters. I rarely clown on anyone here. But I can, and will, if provoked. And it's tough to do that, cause I have a slow burn fuse. Internet beef is the last of my concerns.

This is my last trip for a few months. I'm gonna take a well deserved break. My next trip will be in mid-July. And it's a stateside trip, down to Norfolk, VA. But that might change.
