download the metro cab in the CABS folder and get the file(s) for where yo gonna go

this will hook you up to all the public transportation lines in whatever citiy you go to....I would also recommened (if driving) install a gps app on your device...go to the gps folder(located in More Apps) for that go to Ipmart and search for a map(for use with the gps) for where you gonna go

They have to be synced to the device. There are no (at least none that I know of) cab files for these.

it started out as a free app and now its commercial...I actually posted the directions to do this on pg.4 of this thread. Props on getting a hold of the commercial app!
I installed it on xv6800 and i get the message at the bottom saying "FATAL ERROR Connection Sharing not found'. What next.
I actually just installed it on my tilt..going to try and use my mackbook to try and connect
FYI I installed the newest version 1.02 (http://www.sendspace.com/file/l2kbou) and the serial Sydney provided works for the new version as well. I run a test and get back.....

yes it does ...what this enables you to do is do it without wires using your device as a wifi hotspot using any type of computer and or OS
ill have wifey check on the bill from all the data thats being transfer from my TILT wifi modem..

personally i'm only going to use it to connect to servers via my laptop when I'm on call and using pocket vnc or pocket putty wont cut it...I think you'll raise eyebrows if they see large files being downloaded whic hshould be an issue cause dnlding 8mb files take a long time even on 3g

o..i did mines wit the laptop and the tilt but it should work...i saw it pop up on my desktop
if you dont see internet sharing in you programs folder...you dont have it installed and need to install it for wifirouter to work...if you do not have it installed i suggest you uninstall wifirouter and install intnet sharing 1st then install wifirouter. Here is internet sharing(to install unzip it and copy the 2 files into your widows directory on your phone. then create a shortcut icon in Windows>Start Menu>Programs):
