To the men, annoying trends and styles that turn you off about sistas

I think tats are wack also. Females seem to be more susceptible to trends than males in my opinion. One modern symbol of some type of physiological independence from what they think society is imposing on them. The good thing is they look tolerant on young smooth skin and tight firm bodies. They look hideous on flabby tits, jiggly arms and asses that drag behind them. I would hate to see what they look like on 60 and 70 year old women. In the future, you are going to see a bunch of wrinkled, faded tats.

I can't stand those ballet slippers! UGH.

And I would never rock a colored jean in my life.
A colored twill pant is fine but colored denim is tacky.

Turn ons-
Knee high boots
Blue jeans and black tops
Pretty smiles
classy females
Good perfumes

Turn offs-
Ballerina flats
Certain wedge shoes
Bad perfumes
Trendy women that have to wear something just cause everyone else is

Can't stand too many tattoos. It's tacky. But more than *ANYTHING*, I hate that there aren't a lot of women rocking the natural look anymore. I rarely see dreadlocks (or sista dreads), I rarely see short cuts or fros or anything. *All I see are these damned white girl perms EVERYWHERE. It really makes me sad to see the same cookie-cutter magazine shit on every black girl and woman out here in LA. Hell, what happened to braids? Cornrows? Anything NON-euro??

...And when I talk to cats back home? It's the same shit in DC. :smh:

Just venting...

I just like natural women altogether. However, I can understand being a lil stylish to a certain extent - like I seen a woman with an afro dyed a reddish-brown hue...real jazzy looking...I thought it was cool. BTW, I think dreads are sexy on fine woman.

Tattoos are wack altogether, too - especially if a woman already has nice skin (not referring to skin tone but just healthy looking nice skin). Why they wanna flaw it up with a tat?

Lastly, with the exception of lipstick, I don't like women who wear make-up.

nope

I don't know, there's a lot of men on here that say they don't like a woman to wear makeup, but I don't know if I believe that. Obvious makeup, yes, but many many women were subtle makeup almost everyday and you would never know because it's done tastefully. A little bit of foundation, mascara, and lipgloss goes a loooong way to making some women look a lot better. I know personally some women who should never walk out the house without foundation on....not that they're ugly, but the makeup makes their skin and in turn them look 10 times better. IMO.

Dont know if this was mentioned or if its even eligible:

There are a few But For the love of God, Please put the smokes down!!!:angry::angry:
I hate women smokers I could forgive you if you do like 2-3 sticks a a day, not 2 packs every 2 hours..... Nasty!

I actually like the slipper shoes and don't mind whatever other shoes. It's the weaves. THE WEAVES!!!!

I was JUST about to make a thread here asking what's the big deal about em.

I concur, I wish sister would wear their hair natural. It seems the so called “professional” look is straightened hair. Black women have succumbed to the image of the middle class white ethic of business attire, which they have interpreted as Caucasian beauty.

I agree. . . That's why I don't have any tats. How am I gonna look as somebody's grandma. . with sexy tattooed on my lower back? :smh:

Not to knock those who have them. . . just not for me.

Riiiiight

It is!!!

My grandma had a saying she told me when I was little about a peach so I got a peach. And because my man drew it for me it's double special.

Don't get me wrong I don't like to see a man or a woman with too much tattoos all over the place. Just so long as it's tasteful...

Don't make me get rowdy on a defense! :)

Snow boots

Stupid piercings

Excessive tattoo's (especially lower back tats, it's just overdone...)

Idiocy/Ignorance (which seems to be a trend these days :smh:)

Colored contacts

Clothes that do not fit

Man clothes... :smh::smh::smh:

I agree, but it's hard to find matching bras and panties after you past like DD. Once you're bigger than that threshold, bras only come in black, white and taupe. :(

I have a lot of Black undies just for that reason....:smh:

... Bigger than a DD? How much bigger we talking? Will you marry me? OK, marrying me was a little much. Will you have hot, butt naked, dirty freaky circus sex with me??

Trendy women that have to wear something just cause everyone else is

dude the only way you can make this statement is if you didnt start rocking button ups and blazers when jay and Kayne did it. So if you style is original and all your own then you can diss the trendy women. Me personally i have been dressing the same way all my life my moms didnt buy the latest fashions she brought quality and when i was old enough to make my own decisions i went the same directions. The reason why i believe i have not began to go bald like most of my friends at an early age is because i have had the same haircut all my life.

Actually, I have never wore the blazer and jeans look and I was already wearing button ups here and there before Jay did it. I think you are missing the point. I am talking about women who HAVE to have name brand everything and such to feel good, or HAVE to wear expensive shit to feel beautiful.

Everything you buy has a "name brand" to it. you get what you pay for. If you buy cheap shoes those shits will look cheap after a few wears and they damn sure will feel cheap. If you buy those canal street bags the less than quality craftmanship will begin to show in due time. On the mainboard someone posted a story about their girl a while back who had a falling out with one of her friends over a fake bag. Me I everything i buy usually comes from one name brand not because it is something i have to have but it is just because i like the way it fits me. Now if you want to say you hate to see a woman wearing top designers and having to have expensive shit when her lights are cut off and she is about to get evicted and her kids are dirty then i can understand that.

*blows raspberry

To each his own...

I can see how some men don't like tats on a woman's body but I have always thought of it as a viable art form. Oh well...

Definitely a beautiful artform. I've always wanted to go to Asia where they do the tats by hand and its more of a spiritual thing.

To those who hate RELAXED hair...Its called a relaxer not a perm. Lets just get that out there. Don't knock a woman for having it because you don't have to deal with her hair when it is natural, she does. And its not about having a professional look. I've had a relaxer as long as I could remember and its just not that serious for me to go through the process of going natural.

And smoking is a habit that is unattractive for men and women.

You are STILL missing the point. I am not advocating anyone buy less than quality. I am talking about women who brag about they only wear $300 jeans, or are only in to Louis Vutton, Gucci, etc. Basically, fronting like they are something that they are not

Whatever you call it relaxed, straightened. My last girlfriend who ran 5 miles everyday after work, worked out 3 times a week and would wash her hair very often had no problem maintaining her hair in a natural style. She always looked neat stylish and professional on her job and for me, extremely sexy. Like I said women love those trends. I don’t see many white women getting their hair curly. I see why so many Black women are going bald by the time they are 35. All of those chemicals and heat applied to their hair damages it. I guess that is why I am seeing more and more wigs and fake hair on sisters these days.

I don't have a problem with push bras or tats but chewing gum is really unattractive to me. You just standing there chewing looking like a cow. :smh:

I agree!!! I hate when females smack on gum. I dont chew gum that much but when i do you cant tell lol

fake bags
fake hair
toooooooooo much makeup
low riders and high guts!
clothes that are way too small....sometimes sexy, but I think you are a sexy slut
not employed makeing at least $40K
pro-child support, because it's how you survive!
lack of education
bad attitudes because they have an education.
bad attitudes because they have a job
women who don't know their place in the home, but wants a man to know his place as a provider in the home

Women who think because their ass is fat, they are the bomb or that they can fuck....NOT!!
constantly downing BLACK men in their statements. Have some pride. No other races state their men arren't shit. They state all men aren't shit...LOL Black women love to call us out and say "BLACK MEN" aren't shit, as if the others are better....

Wake up ladies!
