The South at the time had SOME good artists to offer, but now.., there is NO variety anymore, we have no place to go if we don't like a song today, we are forced to try and let all of these wack ass ni99as grow on us, and they never do because they aren't good.........

At the time of the west & east beef nobody could compete! You had two of the best artist going at each others neck! The South has always had SOME good artists, But @ this current moment in HIP HOP you have people that come from nothin, they see a chance to come up, they do what is necessary to get paid being if its wack or not. The South is 95% of radio it seems, and ALL of that shit is garbage, forcing us real heads to listen to "CLASSIC hip hop only in our rides and at home..i found myself bumpin some 1986 Beastie Boy's and old M.O.P last night while driving...fighting it harrrrd not to even hear my car radio on the way home.

GZA and RZA-Hasn't come out with an album in over a decade but still outspoken about how wack everyone else is.First it was Puff now its SoldierBoy.Instead of worrying about everyone else(that is having commercial success) they should be concentrating on reviving their careers.RZA's beats havent evolved since the 90's and GZA is just not felt.

only difference is that our (the South's) wack rappers make money, get radio play, and pack concerts. while the West and East coast wack rappers have to battle on Smack DVD and or sign to G-Unit. I'm not saying I'm proud that the South is being represented in "mainstream" media by wack rappers, but at least they're getting theirs.
