TV Shows that were cancel too early (Anyone remember 413 Hope St)

You on point. I liked all those shows except Fastlane, it came on at a bad time. I can't believe anybody remember "Parker Lewis". People use to call "Parker Lewis", the bootleg "Ferris Bueller". Good show. I loved Sliders, you never knew where they were going.

Did anybody fuck with that show on FX called over there. Only got one season FX's excuse was the ratings were low. I thought it was a pretty good show.

As was Judd Apatow's college-themed follow-up Undeclared. Both of these one-season series are classics.
He's having the last laugh now though, by ruling the comedic FILM world, using many of the same people from these shows (especially Seth Rogan, of course).

Viewers actually signed petitions to keep Firefly going, promising unquestionable loyalty to watch the show and give it the ratings they wanted, but they STILL cancelled it.
Once they cancelled Family Guy & Futurama, Cartoon Network got their old episodes. They ran the fuck out of RERUNS and, although people KNEW they were reruns, they still watched those shows damn near religously. Fox found out they had made a boo-boo, so they buy the show back.
It was just in 2006 when they decided to put Family guy back on. Now they're ralking about bringing back Futurama.
If I was Seth Mcfarlane, I would've said "Fuck you" to Fox and sold the show to Cartoon Network or someone else for a cheaper price!

I hope someone coherent is running that shithole now, cuz I really like The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I'm surprised they haven't canned Prison Break by now.

Loved that show too. But this is why Fox canceled it.
Each episode cost the two studios making it (Warner Bros. and Fox) $2.6 million. The show's hallmarks — unconventional cinematography, explosions, guest appearances, licensed soundtracks, supercars and other exotic vehicles — were the root cause of the exorbitant production costs. As a result, the show was canceled because of these high production costs and the ratings drop it suffered from being moved from Wednesday nights to Friday nights.

Why did they cancel that show? It was really good and everyone I talked to liked it.
I also live that show Linc's too. I wish they would come out with the Dvd to it. I still remember that episode when Pam Grier got buck naked.

Boomtown--watching the first season right now. Wish they would release the 2nd season ( I think NBC only aired 3 or 4 episodes before cancellation) Vanessa Williams was on that season.

They "killed them" because the ratings sucked (even for FOX) and one-hour shows are expensive to produce. You should be happy they put them on in the first place. They've taken lots of risks with shows, and a few have really paid off.
