Finally, the question that all lipgloss wearers have been contemplating... Is the expensive stuff really that much better than the stuff you can get for .99cents at the Beauty Supply store?

I am currently sporting Skin Food's "Sweet plumping Lipgloss"

Gentlemen...Do you notice a woman's lips? Do you have a preference for lipgloss or lipstick on your woman?
 
I love a women in lipgloss or lipstick, as long as its very classy looking, and sexy. If she has on fire engine red lipstick , it better be dress up night,you feel me,:yes:

I mean the sticky that if we put it on your stick pricky
with just enough spitty...the result will be more sticky-icky ;)...

the ten bucks u spend on ur "sticky" is finite...

where as ours is the gift that keeps on giving -lol
 
If a chich is wearing bright red lipstick, it might look trashing, unless she is being freaky for her man, I guess, our has a classy look with it?

I stay glossed up...its weird... just waking up... lounging around the house by myself... about to clean the toilet... about to eat or drink... gloss is always handy...and applied frequently (I know its a problem)

I took the pic while making this thread... I thought it would add a certain touch and I just now started to use this lipgloss and its not a brand I currently use it was given to me by a friend who noticed my obsession, and I must say I think they did a good job :)
 
I wear Dior Dior Lip Addict in a few shades.

I also wear some lip stains from Becca.

I don't like loud colors in lipstick so I do pale apricot or peach colors, maybe a light lavendar that have some coppery, silvery, or goldtone shimmer. Metallics look better on my skin than flat colors.

Yeah it's pricy but worth it. I don't do much lipstick anymore because my condition has my skin, scalp and lips very dry now. Lip stains are a great alternative because it's part gloss, part lipstick.

MAC has some very good lip stains as well.

But Victoria's Secret has a clear lip gloss that I wear consistently that has peppermint oil in it. They generally sell them 3 for 10 bucks. It is like conditioner for your lips and I put it over any gloss or stain.

On a regular day when I'm just at work or lounging around, its just some regular old Blistex or clear Victoria Secret lip gloss.

But if I'm actually going somewhere I like to used a little lip stick + the clear gloss, I have a few natural shades and a few brighter. But usually I wear the Viva Glam 5 with a plum liner or amethyst gloss by Estee Lauder, they both work well with my skin tone

I have never really dealt with girls who have worn make up, Arching their eyebrows and maybe some lipgloss is all they wore....When it comes to the lips, I like lipgloss I think it really makes like the lips look nice, also when it comes to lip stick I like something thats kinda fits the rest of the complexion and doesn't stand out.
 
Lip Gloss or Lipstick is all fine, and any color (even red) is fine, as long as a woman knows how to wear it and it matches her look.

Do mothers teach their girls how to wear lipstick anymore? Some women come out looking trashy, or like cheap 2-dollar whores with too much or the wrong style lipstick. Hell, I've seen some women come out looking like the Joker! :smh:

Alot of women don't wear makeup regularly. But then when they have a special event they try to apply makeup and they look like shit.

I get stopped all the time by women who think I'm a makeup artist. I give them suggestions all the time and still women are CLUELESS.

If you have flawless skin all one needs is mascara and a sheer gloss. But if you're like me and have tons of facial flaws, a good base and setting powder is good as long as you buy the right shade.

For special occasions, don't overdo the eyeshadow! Really dramatic eyeshadows are for the club or for the stage.

Cat eyes are great if you have the lashes to boot, but please don't overdo it like Amy Winehouse.

And bright red lipstick works on very few women of color. Try a muted matte lipstick for a more retro look.
 
I love MAC's lipglass esp. in c-thru and darjeeling. I trace and blend the c-thru in with MAC's chestnut lip liner and when I want my lips to "pop" I add some dollar lipgloss...
