I can't even look at the video (won't load up), but simply for the sheer fact that it ended up on that site and ended up here, I think I'd be safe in assuming that whatever the woman's reaction was, the man's was tenfold. Frankly, as a hot-blooded male, I'd rather take the temporary loss of respect that comes from a slap in the face than the permanent assault charge the jackass-in-question opted for in laying her out. Most men do. But in a lot of situations where a man hits his girl, the men really do love their woman. It's not easy to leave a woman you're madly in love with, no matter what. Moreover, in such relationships there is usually a lot of passion. Granted, the passion becomes misguided when he hits her. Still, there is love there, which is why some woman don't leave their abusive men. Counseling works sometimes.
I've never been a person who resorts to violence over a simple argument so hitting a woman, no matter what she said, wouldn't be an option. Now if my girl had went upside my head like the chic in the video then I'd have just said fuck it and ended the relationship right there. More often than not the law is on the woman's side so I'm not catching a case for knocking out a 126 pound woman. The shit isn't worth it.
