I wanna know what happened all the Heavy Metal issues for 2007-08. A few were dropped, but I can't see anyone stopping all of a sudden unless the folks at HM complained.

As of 12/27/07 No more marvel comics will be posted and no marvel on the board whatsoever! Guess it was good while it lasted.
If Marvel is forcing them to take ALL of their issues down, it's no point in joining. I'm sure DC will follow suit soon enough.

correction: toro and the the human torch are two different beings. the original torch was an android...same body used by the original vision.
toro was a mutant.
Ok that sounds right, I knew that Vision's body was the Original Torch. But then I remember seeing Toro in a West Coast Avengers issue with Vision and Johnny Storm, so that explains that.
DC may not. DC is doing okay. But Marvel is a Beast in the comics world.
I got a few DC issues I can get from there SO im not worried about it.
DC can use any free press they can get.

Kotton was mad shook. Still,I'm a Marvel fan and I was looking forward to issues of Ultimates 3, newuniversal, and more The Dark Tower for 2008. Hopefully Stan Lee and the crew may cool out over the next few months. Some disgruntled member who got banned probably dropped a dime(at 4000 members the site isn't that big). Kotton and the mods over there can be bitchy sometimes and ban you for no good reason. In a way I'm kinda glad this happened to wake them punks up.

Komics Live was told to get all the Marvel out by 12-27-07 because Marvel has gotten into the digital archive business. according to Joe Quesada they knew of Komics Live (and other sites) but didn't give a damn. now they don't want any comp, but you know there will always be secret societies to get your fix from.

Same here I know tons of places.. but Im not naming. even thru hidden links. try torrents for fix. or Linker myself and others can post marvel links.
Yeah, I doubt that Marvel Comics will vanish from the forums. So they should still be posted here and other places.
But to tell the truth I have been more into DC comics lately, because Marvel has been very bad with their release dates. It's hard to follow when things are happening months apart.
i don't fault Marvel, i'm sure they knew about all of the comic trading sites for years, they let it go on as long as it wasn't in direct competition with what they were doing.
can someone pm me some of the places that marvel will still be posted i really wanna know how a lot of stuff ends rather than read it on wikipedia..

Sometimes its weird for me to get excited over Thor because I mean, its Thor! But man, they doing this book right...he doesn't have that "cheesy" flair he used to have back in the day and he's just badass. They gonna fuck this franchise up when/if they do a movie/tv series.
