Everybody talks about how they hate Tom Jackson on the espn football shows but have any of you guys listened to the two faced bullshit that comes from meshaun johnson? This is the same guy who wrote a book called just give me the goddamn ball but now week in and week out he is preaching about how this player isnt a good teamate or this player is bad for the league. Since when did this dude become the model football player. Is this the reason why they got rid of Mike Irvin? I hated him as a cowboy because he always destroyed my eagles but he was right for that show. Keyshaun sucks as a commentator
 
Keyshawn seems intelligent and articulate enough. Problem is he is full of himself (swears he is God's gift to WR's) and something in his personality is just plain annoying to me.
 
Yea Keyshawn sucks. So does Emmit. Michael Irvin was way more entertaining. The best thing Kewyshawn did this year was the Chad Johnson interview. On Sunday, I'd rather watch the CBS Pregame show these days!

I feel that man James Brown is the truth i wish the local philly station would have put his interview on Podcast. It was very interesting he was talking about the struggles of the black athlete after the Mcnabb interview on real sports. He presented a very interesting side to the arguement.

I was just about to start this same thread. He ROASTS every active black player during EVERY opportunity he gets. Chad Johnson (they can't be friends after what I saw) was when I first started to notice the shit.

Then tonight...personally I think it's a good thing that Ricky Williams is back and hopefully it will be a win/win for both him and the Fins. BUT, why would you bash another black man w/ crackas by your side and do it so often? He pretty much called Williams a fuck up who doesn't have the ability to turn his life around.

Keyshawn just comes across as the brother who wants the spotlight and loves to see his counterparts not doing as well as him.

i never liked Keyshawn since this years draft, dood praised every single receive that played like him (slow but physical) and dogged every speed receiver throughout the whole time. doods got a serious god complex.

in my opinion, he never lived up to the hype he received out of college. i don't think he's a hall of famer. yes he had a few decent games, not even a big touchdown receiver. his best attribute was catching balls in the middle and a decent blocker
 
some strong opinions, but what made keyshawn so bad? the only "terrible" things i remember through his whole career was his criticizing neil odonnell who refused to throw to the ball to a 6'4 athletic target and him saying he should play a bigger role in the jets offense than wayne fucking chrebet. people's memories seem to fade as these pre-heavy internet days become more distant and all you had to depend on was espn (who most of us know is jaded bs), which speaks volumes.

truth be told key was a good borderline great receiver that blocked downfield and most of his teammates had good things to say about. white america hated him because he was articulate. they'd rather have minstrel show druggies like mike irvin (who i loved on espn) in front of the camera because at the end of the day, you could always dismiss him.

yall need to reevaluate your stance on keyshawn. best sound bite from key ever was after he won a SB in tampa and faggot ass chris mortenson asked him if he was dissapointed he didnt lead the team to victory (nevermind he led them in receiving, the whole year) and key responded, "chris i have a ring, its over, i won." :lol:

i gotta admit ( being a skins fan i never thought id say this) but Troy Aikman is one of my favorite announcers. right up there with al micheals.

Emmitt is horrible. Can that guy finish a thought without stumbling over his words? I never liked Mike Irvin and I don't know if I like Tom Jackson.

He's better than anything else they have on ESPN.

And commentators aren't supposed to hug players nuts like Michael Irvin did. Everyone was his friend, and he had an excuse for everything.

And he wrote the damn book at 22, I wish you all would let that shit go already. You all are worse than the damn white commentators.
