This is so dumb... The player's association and FIBA need to kill this bullshit asap

If they let this touch a real NBA game, it won’t be good. The best free throw shooters will purposely try foul bait on the 3 point line. They’re trying to say it’s, “Equal risk, Equal reward” cuz if you miss the free throw you get no points instead of 1 or 2. Nah fuck that

All this because some piss poor unathletic cac TV exec want the game to wrap quicker so he could sell more ads

Exactly. Talking about “Improve game flow”. Yeah ok. This is all about money like you said but it’s going to fuck with the quality of the product on the floor. But we know Silver doesn’t really care about that as long as people still tune in :smh:

Charles Oakley once told a gym full of kids they were soft and challenged anyone to a game of one-on-one.

Only one player accepted. ✊

A 17-year-old Ben Wallace.

At the time, Wallace had no major college offers and no clear path to the NBA. But he wasn’t about to back down from one of the league’s toughest enforcers.

“Oakley sat us all down and told us that we were soft and weren’t working hard enough. Then he asked if anyone wanted to play one-on-one, and I volunteered. He hit me in the chest with the ball and said, ‘Let’s go.’ We played in front of the whole camp. He busted my lip. I busted his nose.”

When asked who won, Wallace smiled.

“I did. And he wasn’t shooting no jumpers over me — especially when I was 17. I got his shot.”

Oakley was so impressed by Wallace’s toughness that he made a phone call to a friend in Cleveland, who came to watch him play. That connection led to a junior college opportunity, eventually sending Wallace on the path to the NBA.

From an overlooked teenager with no major offers, Wallace became a four-time Defensive Player of the Year, an NBA champion, and a Hall of Famer.

One fearless decision changed the course of his life.

Even swap:confused::confused::confused: people are wild!!!

Paul George had to take PEDs to get through the season and was suspended for 25 games for it.
Now we've got the league watching and testing him "More" randomly:smh:

Dude might not play most of the season:smh: without them PEDs
PG is gonna miss at least 1/4 of the season with or without PEDs just cause he's old.

Then you add in the injuries.

NBA gone be like AAU and arcade games
50 point games gone be the norm
Kids already losing fundamentals, we won’t recognize the game in 5-10 years

Any person that plays bball knows this is why having a jumpshot was the most important thing… things like speed and ups will deteriorate overtime so if you depend on athleticism for most of your game/skills your game would eventually become subpar as you got older or outta shape… but whether age or even weight gain your jumper could last you for decades even when you weren’t in tiptop condition.. this is why when nigs were teens and you might get a random older person in their 40s or up, they could be black, Spanish, even white they wouldn’t be the most athletic person on the floor but if they had that Jay they still would be dangerous.. throw in that grown man strength and you fuck around and get your ass whipped on the court by a slower elder guy.. they setting strong ass picks, mad strong posting you up, hitting all kinda fadeaway or deep jump shots.. you looking like I can outrun this motherfucker, out jump this nig, but gramps holding his own out there.. this is why I always love having a jumpshot..cause even at 45 still can go lights out on these lil nigs when I’m in the zone

No matter how older a player gets, they never lose that muscle memory of how to shoot. That's a dangerous weapon to have even though that person no longer have the speed nor athleticism anymore but can still burn anybody with that lethal jump shot. Pierce still schooling these young bucks to show that he still got it even though he can't move like he did back then.
