I try to always get a physical copy if it's available. My issue was that the cost of games was increased because they have to manufacture disc, and get it pressed, and put them in boxes, and create labels...so why aren't digital games cheaper than physical?
The same reasons shorts cost as much as jeans. Motherfuckers are greedy.
says who? also they're gonna have to do something about backward compatibility, they got away with it with ps3 to ps4 but prices going up, no new discs, and this. Sony gonna go the Sega route
I think this gonna backfire… companies think they got consumers figured out and can do whatever they want and consumers will still buy..I think Sony got big headed and somehow this gonna fuckup their future… Xbox might have just found a way back in, or sega this might be your way to return… lot of YouTube nigs going crazy off this decision
The PS5 Pro is currently $900 and there is a subreddit full of people snatching them up in anticipation of GTA VI. Not one of them has even mentioned buying the add on disc drive.
Rockstar is notorious for double/triple/quadruple dipping with GTA, re-releasing it for every platform.
There is a 99.9999% chance GTA VI will be released on the PS6 before the PC.
If the PS6 offers the ultimate way to experience GTA VI, best believe people will happily line up and pay $1k for it even if it's digital only.
