The cookie cutter is people look at a player having rings and not their overall accolades to determine who's better or not.
Some of the greatest players that were on the court might not have a ring but they had other awards that made them great.
I usually hate these debates sometimes because people put too much in stock of how many rings a person won instead of looking at the stats and everything else about that player that made them great.
Brunson got a lot of years left in the NBA which after he retires is when this discussion can be had again but in the meantime it's too early for that and he's not currently better than iverson after winning a championship.
