Iran's strategy of wiping out the U.S. base that a strike came from, and the adjacent U.S. Bases as punishment, is good self-defense strategy, even though they could EASILY go SCORCHED EARTH and wipe out what's remaining (most U.S. Bases have been wiped out in that region) of U.S. military Bases and associated assets.
