The Cavs season was over when they traded for Mr. Anti-Defense. As much I hated D. Gizzle atleast he tried but Mr. Anti-Defense doesn't even do that. Don't let me start about his offense;the side he seems to really care about. He shoots so many bricks you would have thought he was building a tower to the moon.
Then,have to try to recruit LeBron in the middle of the previous series.
As,much I like Mobley he took a step back. I'm starting to believe he will never reach his full potential on this team. He's way too passive,he never demand the ball and he let smaller players bully him. He was supposed to be a KG clone coming out of college but that's not happening at all.
Mobley and Allen both had a terrible series. After Allen had that monster game against Detroit game 5 he went 16 and 10, Mobley went 19 and 8. Then Game 7 Allen went 23 and 7, Mobley went 21 and 12....... its like nobody looked at those analytics!! You got those 2 going EARLY and you have a better chance of winning the game/ series....
But I feel as though its the coaching. These guys are not utilized together well defensively. I don't think there should ever be a CONFERENCE series where either one of them is not averaging 14-16 pts and at least 8/9 rebounds. I want the double double but I'll settle for 8/9. This last series there were no great games from Allen or Mobley. And there should have been, theres no way Bridges and Hart are bullying them in paint or on the boards! (Mobley is listed at 6'11 and 215?!!! 215..... GET THIS MAN IN THE GYM!! He doesn't need to be 300 lbs, but damn can you get to 240?!!)
The 3pt analytics is such bullshit. Game 3 they were down big and got the lead within 7/8 by getting defensive stops and then converting in the paint and mid-range 2's. But once they were withing breathing room, they went back to chucking up 3's and the lead went back up...... its a grind but they should've stuck to what was working

Man, i couldn't sit there with a straight face and say something as crazy as that. SAS is not even in the same studio with Perk but it seems to be rubbing off on him. KAT wasn't playing like that in minnesota and he doesn't respond well to people getting on him like that like i know Ant was probably doing to him (see how Jimmy Butler used to get on KAT) so it's not the worst trade in NBA history. Not even close. So perk..i mean, Luka was just traded last year...that one is worse than the KAT trade
