How bout they just go in the park and stop worrying about outside of it

I'm disgusted by the sight and sound of those miserable alabaster cunts.

I miss the 80' & 90's when that area was heavily populated by Black people.

That was my first thought. Thats my old hood growing up. And it was very disturbing that all these decisions are being made and not one person of color was involved. Not one.

Second I need to understand what exactly are the pros and cons of all these changes before I comment.

Why did they take her shit.. if I remember correctly she was part of the selection to get a free food truck when nyc had a lottery for dozens of people to get one in an idea to have more culinary options in nyc yrs ago.. in fact I think I posted it in my nyc food thread yrs ago
Not sure haven’t gotten up to Harlem in a minute. Was hoping you might’ve heard something or got an update from your people

Not one person of color!!!

The transplants want to be able to frolic under the arch, they want what they always want shit that makes them comfortable they don’t care that it impedes your day to day living. They want bikes and roller skates and to walk back and forth from the park to the median. And once they get it they will never use it

^^^^

I have to find time to see the rest of the content that specific person posts.

You can't be there all day edit all that footage and NOT notice you didn't speak to one person of color? And I mean not even someone who is mixed? Not even a fake tan? That feels deliberate. I'm not saying it is. Maybe WE messed and didn't show up. But this seems suspicious.

The DOT is making serious decisions about the infrastructure of the most populated borough most important landmarks with rents going as high as 3800 for a studio and no black people?

Trust me despite all efforts to the contrary? WE STILL THERE.

And a change to ANYTHING around the park has huge ramifications to the botanical garden, zoo, main branch of the library, bus routes, eastern parkway, Brooklyn museum and that is NOT everything.

I still need to hear more before I comment. It may be a good idea. Black people use that space on the regular having fairs, birthdays, cook outs, walks, picnics, parties, exercise, meditation etc.

We need the space and will use it if white folks don't f**k it up.

I would appreciate the space. I taught 4 generations of my family to ride bikes in there. Fed ducks, jogged, played soccer baseball lacrosse cricket frisbee kites water fights built snowmen sledding and tennis, rode horses. I did some things with some girls anyway I need to hear more.

I'm not automatically against change just cause these crackers suggest it but it does give me immediate pause.

@tallblacknyc
This is starting to feel targeted

Funny you posted this was just talking about it 2 days ago… let’s just say I had a friend who was thinking about opening a liq store around there but due to the church and couple of schools around there couldn’t do it.. the thing is by rule you have to be technically like 500 ft away or more to open up an establishment that sells liquor from a church or school..in certain cases 200 ft.. Ricardo is approximately 180 ft away.. the jehova witness spot been there for decades.. what it is , is that when they applied for the liquor license either they didn’t mention or it wasn’t a thorough investigation to see the distance between the 2.. so for 22 yrs Ricardo’s got away with selling liquor technically illegally by city standards… consider themselves lucky.. now what made them notice now who knows..maybe part of the staff who was responsible to look over them forms retired and a new person noticed the flaw , maybe someone was getting paid off to overlook the scenario and now isn’t there idk.. but from what I’m hearing it wasn’t the church complaining
