What’s funny is Spencer had a decent stretch of good games during the season which is why I think they converted his contract from a 2-way to a regular one. I did NOT expect that type of performance nor for him to have to start in the damn playoffs but here we are lol.
But that is what I’m not liking about Adelman. Everybody and they mama know the TWolves are going to key in on Jokic-Murray 2 man game. So why not make adjustments that will give the other guys room to make plays?
Murray could come down immediately pass to Jok, Wolves player jump the pass. Turnover right? The problem is that they’ll come down and do it again and and again. All the Wolves do is Jump Jokic and take away his options. No ball movement. That is way too predictable and makes Gobert’s job easier in defending Jokic. The other night you saw them swing the rock and that allowed for a player like Spencer Jones to make plays. They need to do that tonight or it’s over.
