Fan bases aren't smart which is why most teams haven't won in decades.
It takes time and fans don't like waiting wanting results right away which put more pressure on the coaches and players to preform or else they would get traded and coaches getting fired.
There is a reason why the same 7 teams are always picking high in the draft
