The Official 2025/2026 NBA Season - The New York Knicks Are The 2026 NBA CHAMPIONS!!!

and the flipside is Clippers fans, Hawks fans, and Wizards fans.
True! Clippers fans were solid though not good but solid but fuckem!! Atlanta have bad fans for everything. I’m not even sure about wizards fans because they have no competition! New Orleans put

I strongly desire that the NBA stick with 82 games forever, for the sake of the comparisons that @Day_Carver and I can’t live without.

But they have to spread out the season more. Cut the preseason to two games and start the season a couple of weeks earlier.

The regular season should be everyone play’s each other twice and that’s it!! No need for anything different! Home and away and that’s it!

"When you're trying to rise to the top of the mountain you have guys that's trying to stop me from getting there and vice versa and Steph has been one of those guys throughout our career we've been trying to get to the mountaintop and we trying to knock each other off of it and that competition was brewing for a long time and every time we play against each other it still brews. When you get to a certain age and you get to a certain level and you understand that appreciating greatness and appreciating things that you won't be able to have for a long time ever after when you're done. You can look back on those moments, you don't want to waste an opportunity to be able to build a relationship with somebody that you kinda share some of the same, I guess, goals in life. There's so much mutual respect and now it's like just even more respect just out of the simple fact that we can hop on a phone call or text or whatever. It was great (for) us to talk basketball in just the most easy organic way with the 2 episodes and have that time so it's been cool"

I'm curious where the top 6 will finish. I don't think LeBron passes Klay so I don't think he climbs any higher.

Klay hit 216 3s last year and 268 the year before. A career high 301 just three years ago, believe it or not. He has played all but one game this year and is on pace for 173 3s if he plays 75 games and makes them at the volume he's at with his career low 31% from 3.

So Klay will definitely pass Dame this year if he is healthy and should pass Ray Allen next year, assuming he gets that percentage up and there is a next year for him.

Can Dame come back next year and hit 170 3s to pass Ray as well? He had 197 last year (58 games) and 220 the year before (73). I think he can do it-- that bet requires him being healthy just half the season, maybe more in a reduced role. I think he very likely gets 170 more before retiring.

Harden's #2 spot seems like it will be safe for a handful of years.

I think at the end of next year it will be:

Curry
Harden
Klay
Dame
Ray
LeBron
