The Official 2025/2026 NBA Season Thread OKC Thunder NBA Champs Who’s Got Next?

Unpopular opinion, but that was a bad call and it should've been a block instead of a charge. Side note I hate that play because it's not a basketball play.

But if you look at the play, Edwards was in his jumping motion a millisecond before Gabe was in position.

They reviewed it and still got it wrong. :smh:

You’re taking my comment the wrong way— you are dense but I’m not trying to be insulting!

Dude, it’s still only 7 games but that is approaching 10% of the season and Klay has fallen off a cliff this year so far.

26.4% from 3! He shot 39% just last year! 31% from the field when he has never shot sub-40. He came back as a starting guard and important player on a title winning team! You can’t just point to the injuries from 4+ years ago! You can cite it as a factor but it doesn’t explain everything.

And Klay is one of my 10 favorite players ever, that’s why I’m focused on him.
Most athletes are done, no matter the sport, when they are 35. Klay is 35 with two major leg injuries; one that is a death sentence when it comes to basketball players; so I’m not shocked at how he’s playing at all! He’s been declining and it’s a wrap! He needs to come off the bench and accept that. Play in spurts against non starters! If he doesn’t want to do that then once this contract is up retire into the sunset with that hoe Meagan…

If Klay had been anywhere near this bad 4 years ago, the Warriors don’t win the title.

Klay was averaging 36 minutes per game in the playoffs on a title winning team and his numbers were right in line with his career averages.

I don’t think he’s being set up to fail. It’s a bad situation. But 4 seasons ago, post-injury, there was no circumstance in which Klay Thompson would be 16% below the league average in TS%.

You talking like 4 years ago isnt a long time; thats a very long time in the sports world; especially for a player who has had some serious injuries and regardless of the injuries, is on the down of his career...

1st move was a fucking travel :smh: :smh: they just dont call travels anymore ...
I've given up on travels, we were told that this isn't a travel.

So if that's not a travel, next if a player does this in a basketball game I'm expecting it's not to be a travel either!
