Yes.
Can a person train to be the greatest 3 point shooter ever while playing at and against the highest level of competition?
I'm going to say no.

I started playing basketball again to soon after I tore my Achilles and developed knee problems that I still deal with today, I did the non surgical repair though so that was probably part of it

I eventually stopped playing full court competitive basketball because of mine, knee problems and then always afraid I'd tear it again, when you tear your Achilles it's not from making some type of unnatural movement, quick stop etc.., it's like you take a normal step and BOOM you feel something hit your heel and then you can't lift it...smhI'm scared of a torn achilles.
