cued.... this is when Embiid knew it was Maxey's team...not his anymore...

watch Embiid on this play and the look on his face when Tyrese was...naw thats ok I got it!

You’re right the offense sucks, but what you described is their offense.

The offense is Luka, and with him gone it’s Austin. It’d be nice if the other bums, I mean players could do something to create a shot.

But they’re just manure on the court, like you said they need to cut move and make shit happen. It’s not a successful offense if the others just stand around doing nothing.

Also like @Complex said, they’re missing two of their best players so…

But still
I didn't mean to completely shit on the Lake Show. I'll even give them a compliment. In the game last night they kept running the high pick'n'roll with AR and Ayton.

I was thinking that when Bron & Luka come back into the lineup, that play is cause problems for opponents. Ayton seems to have really worked on that mid-range floater.

If Bron is running the offense into that pick'n'roll, they'll have 3 pt threats in Luka & AR, Ayton who can roll to the basket or float it from the line, and Bron doing LeBron things. That is gonna cause fits for other team.

MIchael Jordan said on his sportscentury said that he changed up his dressing style because he said that people may only get to see Michael Jordan one time and he wanted to be dressed appropriately. It sounds self absorbed but when you listen to grown people talk about Michael Jordan's aura in those days, you understand. I also think that Juanita helped with this as well.
He took pride in everything. Not enough athletes with this mentality anymore

How faith drives former NBA star Alonzo Mourning’s goodwill

The Hall of Famer has developed affordable housing for families and senior citizens in Florida and Texas

When asked why he’s dedicated this stage of his life to building affordable homes for families and senior citizens, Hall of Fame basketball player Alonzo Mourning had a simple response.

It’s not just because of the money, nor is it only about being the right thing to do.

As a man of faith, Mourning believes we’re all created by a god whose qualities we all can inherit. Loving your neighbor as yourself is what Christians are taught, which takes on a whole new meaning when it comes to housing shortages and homelessness, both of which are endemic to American society.

So, after a 15-year NBA career with the Charlotte Hornets, New Jersey Nets and Miami Heat, during which he won a championship in 2006 with the Heat, Mourning pivoted full time into philanthropy after retiring in 2008.

Over the past decade, he’s moved into housing development. In May, his latest development—a $37 million affordable senior apartment in Bradenton, Florida—was completed. The five-story, 120-unit building will cost its residents as low as $322 a month.
