What qualifies a basketball player to be a legend?

I think that's only the top of the top. Like top 5 at your position. Or something that really sets you apart from your peers.

I think you could argue for Westbrook, with his distinction as the all-time leader in triple-doubles and being the first to average a triple-double for a season in many decades.

Not really sure what the case for CP3 is. Hall of fame PG clearly but a legend??? I don't think so.

Matt Barnes says Doc Rivers paying his son more than players like Jamal Crawford and JJ Redick started the downfall of the Lob City Clippers“He brought his son over, and it was just some weird energy there. He paid his son. I’m not even mad. If I was in the position, I’d pay the s___ out of my son, too. But people don’t understand at the time what that did to people. I mean, he was making more than me, Jamal [Crawford] , JJ [Redick] – like guys that were putting in real minutes, you know what I mean? Playing in crunch time. And it kind of had people looking at him funny… when the son came, the energy with that — like guys weren’t really off that.”
