2025 Chicago Bears Season Thread

Arguably the best pass rusher in the league is now in the NFC North, and he's not wearing blue and orange. This is really bad news. Buckle up #18!!

We don't play the Packers until week 14, hopefully by then our LT is playing decent football. After this year the Bears need to go out and get a left tackle.

Just wanted to give a big ups for the Sox fans here, yall really gor a shot at winning 50 games, all while still holding the record of one of the worst seasons in baseball of all time.
Sox fans thank the.Rockies.for making it all possible.

Guess who's back? Lol

I’ve hated this dude since, in the days after Chris Henry’s death, I heard him live on The Score say that “he deserved to die because he was a piece of shit.” But he’s the type of guy that Chicago’s MAGA wypo Democrat base loves.

Yeah he's come a long way since those days, I remember when he said that about Chris Henry and I remember when he called Whitney Houston a crackhead the day of her funeral. He still a piece of shit but he's not as bad as he use to be. From what I've seen in comments Maga hates him lol.

Sometimes it takes going through something traumatic like he did to change a person for the better. Maybe it will work for him in this case. Even though Terry Boers was always the real draw to that old show for me, I always enjoyed listening to Bernstein's basketball opinions, especially when was talking basketball with Jason Goff. He really has a pretty solid knowledge of the NBA game.

He’s definitely liberal lol. There’s a good story about him on The Athletic this week.

Braxton was officially named the starter at LT

and Jaylon is dealing with a groin injury. He might be on a play count Monday.
The first thing next offseason is they should be addressing that LT position. I don't believe B. Jones is going to get any better, at this point he is who he is.

Could have addressed it this year in the second round. Dude Buffalo picked up is a starter, but we traded down and got Ozzie and a injury prone Turner. :smh:

Next offseason we're going to still need a LT, safety. D line help and running back.

Yeah they could have traded back into the 1st round and picked Josh Simmons from Ohio State, Kansas City drafted him and he's starting at LT this year for them. I don't know how Poles is a former offensive lineman but he can't build a OL.. Smh!

I think that they know that Braxton is gone after the season. He's a free agent after the year and the going rate for a starting LT is well over 20 million

A.I. prediction.

Final record prediction: 10-7

The provided game-by-game prediction offers a thoughtful and optimistic outlook for the Chicago Bears' 2025 season. The projected 10-7 record is a plausible outcome based on the team's offseason moves and the inherent challenges of their schedule. The analysis demonstrates a solid understanding of the team's strengths and weaknesses, as well as the competitive landscape of the NFL. While any prediction is inherently speculative, this one provides a well-reasoned and compelling case for the Bears making a significant leap forward

Step inside Halas Hall for unprecedented access inside the Bears quarterback room and uncover what it takes to build team chemistry. Hear Caleb Williams, Ben Johnson and Ryan Poles mic’d up at practice, and follow Dominique Robinson, Theo Benedet, and Jahdae Walker through the preseason as they fight to secure their spots on the 53-man roster. Plus more exclusive behind-the-scenes access in this episode of 1920 Football Drive, the Bears' original docuseries.

On Spiegel & Holmes, Matt Bowen shares his thoughts on the Bears going with Braxton Jones at left tackle. Where does Bowen grade Jones and where can he improve? How will the Bears game plan against the Vikings?

It's really annoying, because he's getting so called projects, but picking them high. This isn't a fifth round Braxton Jones.

Kiran was picked in the third round. Ozzy in the second.

Some people may not care at all about this but all this tells me is that last season was a disaster which most of us predicted because they didn't get rid of Eberflus.

Bruh he basically did the same thing Ryan Pace did when he drafted Trubisky. Mfer got tunnel vision for just one player.. Smh!

I was afraid of that. Pretty sure we didn't bring another QB in for individuals. I had mentioned it a couple of times before.

and I hope he didn't do the same with Ozzy, considering he went to Boston College also. You've been watching him and are instantly biased because of the college connection. Thinking well if we trade down and get two picks.

Exactly! Yeah I know you've been questioning Poles for a while now and I'm starting to feel the same way. I don't have Substack but I might have to subscribe so I can read that 3 part series. They had the writer of that article on CHGO earlier today. Most of this is about last season and Ben Johnson and his staff this year are totally different. It's funny how dudes kept saying there needs to be accountability, seems like they were talking about someone specific like Williams. And after hearing some of this, why did they sign Poles to an extension?

I said it was too soon for the extension, but I know it was so Ben wouldn't have a lame duck GM

And of course Poles went hard after Ben, it allowed him to save his job and get an extension

It was essentially a reward

I haven't heard about Kevin Warren's part in this.

Listened to CHGO and then their follow-up pod today.

Does the writer have a thing against Caleb, or was this his teammates or former coaches. The learning disability shit threw me off. I'm not shocked people pushed back on Reddit.
