The Smithsonian said that it would update an exhibit at the National Museum of American History to reflect all impeachment proceedings in U.S. history after a placard was removed last month.

I can’t believe I’m writing this…
This morning, a family member was taken away by ICE.
We have no idea where this person is being taken to, if we’ll ever see them again, or how they’ll be able to restart in a new random country with nothing to their name. Tomorrow, we’ll be packing up their things and attempting to find out where they’re being sent to. All of this due to an unpaid boating speeding ticket.
I’ve been blessed to live a fortunate life. I was born without ever worrying about where I would live or what I would eat.
This is the most inhumane thing I’ve had to personally encounter. The hearts of my family are very heavy right now. I’m not looking for attention or sympathy. I’m begging for awareness, change, and basic decency amongst humanity. I understand the irony of searching for that on social media. I don’t know why I’m writing all of this… maybe I just need to get it out and know that the world isn’t as cruel and dark as it appears.
Hold your loved ones close. Count your blessings. Be human.
