Here’s how it works:
Nationally Licensed Merchandise
- This includes jerseys, hats, gear, etc. sold through big retailers (like Fanatics, NFL Shop, Dick’s Sporting Goods).
- Revenue from these sales is pooled by the league and then split evenly among all 32 teams, regardless of which team’s gear sold the most.
Notable Exceptions:
- The Dallas Cowboys, through their company Legends Hospitality, have sometimes had customized licensing arrangements, allowing them to keep a larger share of certain local sales. However, for most national sales, they still participate in the revenue-sharing model
I mean the issue is some of these players are overpaid being average at best which is why most teams can't make moves because of not having enough cap space. But I do want players to get paid but then again, gotta be realistic as well about their worth while I don't have a problem with a player trying to get the most money.

Browns are between a rock and a hard place. They are looking to tank but they cant start Shedeur because he just might win so they are going to keep him down as much as possible because you cant hide him in the preseason. If he goes out and ball in the preseason, they will trade or cut him. I dont care what Haslam says. that wasn't Berrys pick and Berry knows hes a dead man walking if they lose this year.
I feel like shedeur deserves better and should go to a team that wants him because we all know he was blackballed getting drafted so low because of who his father is and him speaking highly of himself rubbed them CAC the wrong way. I just hope shedeur gets a chance to prove them wrong that overlooked him.
