The Official 2025 And Beyond WNBA Season/Women's Basketball Thread

Dude just stop it, no one knew Angel Reese was so bad at layups until midway through her first season in the WNBA, the hate for her started in college after the taunt where she was averaging 20+ points 10+ rebounds, won a national championship, was SEC player, was MVP of the championship game and broke the record for most double doubles in a season so for you to come in here talking all just a rebounder and not skilled talk proves you one of those guys that came along after the taunt and chose to be on the Caitlin Clark side of this rivalry.

Ok the W Commissioner said Houston wanted a team...

I assuming Houston will be one of the last 2 to get the W to 20 teams...

All facts right here.

Reese had a really good shooting percentage in college. I mentioned it in a few post. In my opinion, I think she is struggling finishing in the WNBA because they allow them to put a body on each other without calling a foul. With her not having great “touch” it causes her to miss.

What you decribed to me is a rebounder and I just don’t see a franchise player in her. She can’t dribble, shoot, and has no post moves. She is either rebounding or getting hustle points.

Agree! Houston should've been included in the 18 team expansion.

Yeah... Nobody was calling for a new Cleveland Rockers team... Bad name and location the first time...

They should have added Tenn instead of Cleveland...

Then add Denver and Reinstate Houston for 20 teams...

West: Seattle, Portland, Golden State, LA, Las Vegas, Denver, PHX, Dallas, Houston, Minn

East: NY, Conn/Boston, Phil, Was, Tor, Det, Chi, Indy, ATL, Tenn

Good... can't keep playing a 4 guard lineup with Chelsea Grey at the 4...

Upside... Becky ain't got to worry about her getting pregnant... Lol

Nalyssa was a starter so for Dallas to trade her and not get somebody that can help them this year means her and the team were having problems, were her and Dijonae still a couple?

She seems like a asshole :dunno:

LOL..I been leaning toward the same thing. I liked her after the ACE first won the title. It was that viral photo of her smoking the cigar that really caught my attention. She can play ball, but since then she seem to be on an ego trip. It started with her directing some smart ass comment at Charles Barkley about him not having any rings. And her recently bitching about a FEW fans asking her for an autograph.

Help... lol... Dallas is in a 3 way tie for the #2 Draft pick with 5 wins...
Can't start playing good and winning with Azzi and Betts sitting right there...

And she was always a stop gap player for Dallas... She was never in their long term plans....

It's Paige, Arkie and maybe Dijonai everybody else is expendable...

Most importantly, the Aces got younger, She's only 24 and the 2nd overall pick in 2022 behind Rhyne Howard...

This will the first time Smith will play for a winning organization and a coach that can maybe get the best out of her since she has been in the league...
