What percentage of the world's population is considered butt ugly?

The concept of "butt ugly" is highly subjective and culturally influenced, as beauty standards vary widely across societies and individuals. There’s no objective or scientific way to measure what percentage of the world’s population might be considered unattractive by such a harsh standard.

That said, studies on attractiveness often focus on symmetry, facial proportions, and other traits that are commonly (but not universally) associated with beauty. Research suggests that most people fall within a broad range of "average" attractiveness, with smaller percentages being widely perceived as very attractive or less attractive.

If we were to humor the idea:

  • Very attractive – Maybe ~5–10%
  • Average or conventionally unremarkable – ~80–85%
  • Less conventionally attractive ("butt ugly" by harsh standards) – ~5–10%
But again, these numbers are speculative and reductive. Attractiveness is influenced by personal taste, cultural norms, charisma, grooming, and other factors. Most people aren’t universally judged as extremely unattractive—it’s more about individual preferences.

What's worse, butt ugly or two- bag ugly?

The terms "butt ugly" and "two-bag ugly" are both humorous (and harsh) ways to describe extreme unattractiveness, but "two-bag ugly" is generally considered worse because of its exaggerated imagery.

Breakdown:

  • Butt ugly – Implies someone is so unattractive that their face resembles a butt (not a flattering comparison).
  • Two-bag ugly – Suggests someone is so unattractive that you’d need two bags to cover them up: one for their head (so you don’t have to look at them) and another for your head (so they don’t see you looking). It’s a step funnier and more extreme.

Verdict:

"Two-bag ugly" wins (or loses?) as the more exaggerated insult. That said, both are obviously rude and subjective—beauty is in the eye of the beholder (unless you’re holding two bags).
