Russia and the U.S. economy is crumbling and rather fight each other, i think both sides will eventually become allies at the cost of cutting the ties to regions that has, in the past relied on them for help.
Ukrain has nothing to offer the U.S. other than it being a buffer zone for Europe and the only thing Iran does for Russia is it keeps the Iranian oil off the market giving Russia more leverage.
So it would be in the best interest for both sides to allow the other side to handle their business rather than support a money pit war.
The thing that worries me the most is that there is a good chance that Iraq gets nuked in the process, but only if Russia gives the thumbs up.
Also if this is the plan Israel will have little use for the U.S. and will certainly be forced to disarm it's nuke bombs.
This don’t make sense within the Brics. You gonna have Russia sacrifice a key Brics member for Ukraine. Thats very interesting to me but stranger things have happened.

People may not remember how genuinely terrifying things were during the early phases of that war. I was positive that if Iraq had a nuclear weapon, they would have used it once the US punched in. Heck, the country folded so fast, I considered that that was the strategy all along.
Fortunately for us, Iraq's big talk was mostly bluster, and they only posed so much of a threat. But there was enough uncertainty that I definitely did not want us getting back into this kind of conflict anytime soon, if ever.
Iran is a true wild card, they are definitely not about to fold or buckle like Iraq did (not that we really solved anything with them, either), and we have the support of no one except Israel, which was in the process of burning its bridges before this whole thing started. There's no winning scenario for us doing this, which is why it's thoroughly frustrating to hear anyone making a case that this made sense.
