I worked for a very prominent person and got pulled over, he says for a tail light that was out. I knew it was bs. I had my young son with me also. It was in a very wealthy "old money" neighborhood. They dont care for "us" being there. I told him that I was there handling business for the boss. I handed him my license, and my business card. I told him that my registration and insurance was in the glove box. He handed my stuff back and said, get that light fixed. Didn't run my license nor require any further paperwork from me. That was purely from seeing who I worked for and why I was in the area.
