I associate this term with Haliburton:

“Aura farming” is just yet another term created by a (rightfully) nihilistic generation that unfortunately grew up not being able to enjoy *anything* because *everything* is cringe. ​

People that age didn’t get to have a lot of genuine emotions or experiences because of the ever-present ledger of social media, so to them nothing else is really genuine either.​

I mean I know rap is more mainstream than ever before; but I’ve just never seen so many songs used by one rapper ever for sports ; kdot not like us, peak a bo, and squabble up is all over espn tnt and fucking commercials; his management team is winning !!!
