Jimmy is a glorified role player. No shame in that. But it’s always bothered me people consider him more than what he is. He doesn’t have a good jumper and he’s not a great scorer. I’d probably argue he should be your 3rd best player.

Podz has been the main guy in the backcourt other than Steph and he has been historically bad. Moody was a key player a few weeks ago and he's getting DNPs now.

I didn't watch the first half of Game 4 because I couldn't deal with another game like Game 3. But I watched the full game last night and there seemed to be two key differences in the decisive third quarter:

The Wolves had a star and the Warriors did not.
The Wolves had a 7 footer and the Warriors did not.

I don't think huge changes are needed. Nobody can win without their best player in these playoffs and the Warriors with Steph healthy are legitimate contenders. So for that first issue, we just need better luck next year.

The key upgrade-- I am now saying this for the 3rd motherfucking year in a row-- is adding a 7 footer who can play. #2 is looking at Jimmy's salary and if that can be turned into a better #2 (or a #2 who is a big man, killing two birds with one stone). #3 is trimming the fat with all these younger players not cutting it.

Podz and Moody are playing like Barnes played in the finals...Jimmy getting max doesnt hurt because its only 2 years and its in Steph and Green timeline; all that salary shit falls off at the same time; And trading and paying for Jimmy doesnt hurt them getting other players; they still have Podz Moody and Kuminga to trade; and GP2 and Looney are free agents; they can still work with Jimmy being max out; GS main issues is Steph going down and the role players playing like ass; not Jimmy...

Don't need to get much better. Just need our key players healthy and rework some shit around the edges, as I detailed.

2015 was 10 years ago pimp; shit aint the same; GS margin of error is a whole lot smaller now then then; thats the issue; they need to trade someone this offseason to increase their margin of error...

I hope GP2 and Looney come back. Looney is so underrated...

As for Moody/Kuminga/Podz, at least 2/3 need to go and Kuminga will probably be by far the most expensive so that diva should be one of them.

Disagree with you about Butler. I don't trust him to be healthy last year and Steph needs a #2 on offense to share the load throughout the season. His salary is star-level and you might be able to get two players with his production for that much. Dude is making more than Zion.

If they trade they should acquire a 2a or 2b at least; unless they land the jackpot of Giannis or KD or LBJ; so if they acquire another 2 then that will lessen the load on Steph and Jimmy; which would make them last longer; Jimmy is fine when he wants to play; he not out there dogging it; hes playing, he just cant do it like he use to; father time; and neither can Steph to a certain extent; so again 2 years max starting next year is cool; they owe it to Steph to try his last 2 years in the league; after that reset and start over...
