These teams with this new "nba / tv money" have raised the bar and are saturating the market with average players getting above average money.
A player like Bam Adebayo shouldn't be looking at 3 yr/ $165 million, ..... lawd
Damn DG is getting 5 years for $197 mil and change.......lawd
Donovan Mitchell is 3 yr / $150 mill....
Jarret Allen 5 yr / $100 mill is good
The market is fucked. I was pissed at over the hill Shaq and Andrew Bynum robbing the cavs for $13/ $12 million..... but today's numbers are so much worse...... I will never favor a team owner needing public/ taxpayer $$ to build / remodel an arena..... if they're throwing this kind of money on slightly above average players, they can afford to pay for their arenas.
And will still lose the series the way they’ve been playing. The Celtics can improve immensely but the Knicks can’t.
