Didn’t expect them to win the game last night. Them dudes ready for Cancun
Cancun is nice this time of year...
But seriously I said early on this was the worst possible matchup for the Rockets and it shows. They're better than the Warriors at every position (bench included) with the exception of Steph.
There's no reason why they can't win this series even with them being down 2-1.
Long story short, Houston has to play better.
Rockets don't have a position better than playoff Jimmy too. Which is why I said they missed a big opportunity to win this game without him. Now if he comes back Monday it's pretty much a wrap.
This was the worst match up for them, the Warriors just find every weakness the Rockets have. They made Amen non existent this series which I didn't think would happen. They're just beating the Rockets mentally & as usual Draymond playing mind games with them.
The Rockets are the only playoff team that doesn't have a true 1A player that can close out games. They have two Robins but no Batman.
Rockets too shook mentally. Green might get 30 Monday but the following game he'll probably score 9 again. They need need a closer.
KD would've been that closer that y'all need.
Man I just don't want to mortgage the future for a 36, 37 year old KD. If he were 4 to 5 years younger I'd be all in but at his age I just don't want to give up all our leverage to get him.

My pops has said in recent years that his GF's goal is to maintain her high school weight within 5 lbs as she continues to age. I've said to him a few times that's not a healthy plan, as she is 78yo. She keeps a busy schedule with part-time work and looking after her grandkids a few days a week. Doesn't eat very much. Said to him - "she needs more sustenance / caloric intake ..."
I mean unless the suns want to give him up but he won't be cheap.

For Booker I'd give them all their picks back and whatever filler pieces to make the trade work. Outside of Amen and Sengun I'm cool moving whoever.

Warriors are blitzing Jalen and playing Sengun man up. Even when Sengun gets a guard matched up on him, they are playing him straight up.
They have decided they are NOT going to let Jalen beat them. If Sengun can't dominate one on one, the Rockets are done.
Also Ime is a terrible offensive coach. He's great at everything else. The Warriors adjusted to get Curry shots. Rockets aren't doing anything to get anyone shots.
Amen looks lost. Jabari should start. Even with all that, if the Rockets make shots, they can still win this, like you said.

KD couldn't even close the Suns to the playoffs with Booker and Beal on the roster.
What's Booker's history of closing games in the playoffs? I remember this nigga losing by 50 in a game seven. They can keep Booker. If I'm trading all those pieces, I need someone that actually plays well in the playoffs. Hell, for all that they could have just signed Harden lol.
Also, if GS decided to blitz Booker and get the ball out of his hands, you will still be in the same shape with this offense.
