Glorilla

What difference does it make, it's still offensive regardless because both got their name from an animal.

I mean if you're gonna complain, call it both ways.
in meg's case if youre not familar with old skool black culture then callling a woman a stallion (male horse) is confusing. I rememeber hearing that as a kid in the 70s I knew a stallion was a sturdy horse tho I didnt know it was a male horse and that term was used for thick ass sistas...pretty much like the term "brickhouse" a well built structure.

Gorilla on the other hand isnt something from black culture. its an insult put on blacks by others and it was/is meant to be an insult. But because we've been given shit in this country since before the beginning of the US...we've developed a bad habit of trying to turn negatives into positives. The term "bad" means something good.... the bastardized slang for negro...n1 gger becomes nigga and now a term of familiarity/endearment used overly frequently and so fluidly by us that other groups use it to refer themselves to imitate our sense of "cool".

I searched the answer on social media and this what I saw about why she calls herself glorilla: Glo is from Memphis and pimping is real big there (always has been). The strict violent pimps are called “gorilla pimps”. Glo’s real name is Gloria so it’s a play on “gorilla pimp” and Gloria. Her social media handle is “@glorillapimp”.

not sure if that makes anything better....its still an ape reference. And the whole violent pimp thing??? a person who exploits women/people in the worst ways.... again trying to turn a negative into a positive.

I hope she rebrands herself in the near future.

If you're offended about an ape from her name then you should also be offended by a women calling herself a horse.

SO, it doesn't make it better for neither one of them accordingly to your logic.
