I legit thought it was going to be him against Orton for just a split second. I can't say that he's all that dynamic, but he's shown real improvement in his persona and his mic work this past year. He doesn't seem to have anything else left to in NXT except mope about not getting a title back.
His music with Booker T doing the live intro would've hit hard

Worried about him on the main roster, his mic work is sub par and his in ring work is even worse, he's like a worse Carmelo with a better theme song.

If I was calling people up I'd say Ethan Paige, oba femi and Roxanne are the best bets to actually get over. (Stephanie and Giulia need to keep learning English for now)

Stop! She's enjoying a successful music career.
Her first single went triple lead, she doesn't need the evil fed anymore.

Heard she's opening for Beyonce... No wait it's Kelly Rowland.... Sorry I was mistaken and I've been informed she's opening for Michelle Williams.

Jk jk she's opening for the cheetah girls reunion tour 5 dates. 5 states. 10s of fans!

Good list and I can't really argue against it or your points.

I thought about Sammartino and Buddy Rodgers when making mine, but those guys were more regional greats. Not too many outside of the Northeast knew who Bruno Sammartino was.

I included Flair over Buddy Rodgers because although Flair was also regional, he had wider appeal due to touring all over with the NWA title and then being regularly seen on TBS Superstation nationwide.

Those old territories had a wealth of talent, hell I loved AWA growing up in Buffalo when it came on after Roller derby, but a Mt. Rushmore should have the biggest names in the business who also made the biggest impact.

Bruno made a big impact, in the Tri-State and Northeast but not much elsewhere.
The thing with these MT Rushmore lists is that I think people think it is a top 4 most popular or impact or whatever, but the actual meaning is this.

"Mount Rushmore is a national memorial in the Black Hills of South Dakota, showcasing the sculpted faces of four American presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. It is a symbol of American history, representing the birth, expansion, preservation, and development of the United States"

So if we are to go by this, then for WWE the birth of WWE is Buddy Rogers, but I would say that was a cup of tea and Bruno Sammartino is really the first star to carry the birth pains of the company holding the title the longest which won't be broken. The expansion of the company is obviously Hulk Hogan. The preservation of the company was Steve Austin saving it from the NWO/WCW ratings beatings. The development we could say Cena for the modern era with social media and whatnot as argument or it could be The Rock.

For actual pro wrestling the choices I made were off the above. Not saying what you are saying has no merit though because I get it. One thing WWWF had over the other regions was MSG which was a media spot that attracted the likes of huge boxing events with Ali in its day. Sammartino LEGIT sold that place out more than any other star in pro wrestling history. This in a time when ticket sales were really reliant on the draw of the champion.
