I was waiting to see guys like Bruno, Rogers, or Gorgeous George get a mention.

Today people seem to just add WWF/E era stuff. A MT Rushmore of Wrestling using what the actual meaning of MT Rushmore is Hogan, Gorgeous George, Steve Austin, and Buddy Rogers (more Bruno actually) perhaps have it for North America.

Hogan brought things nation wide and international with the expansion. He still has the record for most viewed match with Andre. Hogan is the foundation of this whole Mania era. Then being a major player for the 90s boom and how Nitro helped to change television weekly shows.

Gorgeous George set the foundation for the character/theatrics of pro wrestling. Steve Austin brought the company from the dead in comparison to what occurred. Buddy Rogers is the foundation of WWE, but Bruno carried it during those days. Thesz and Flair honorable mention.

That hot 97 post shows MT Rushmore of WWE. If it is about that Hogan, Bruno, Austin and take a pick between Rock, Andre, or Cena.

New New Dangerous Alliance…..they need more members though

They may just be getting started with a new stable. Great start so far, though. WWE has really STEPPED THEE FUCK UP so far. DAMN. New face Vince is no longer calling the storyline shots is one of the best things to happen to WWE, moving forward.

They are not done. I think they get two more.

At least

As stated above I think they'll add a woman if they do form anything.

They're clearly going all on in Rhea as a babyface so I think they'll have to turn Bianca heel.

Having her turn and as a heel under Heyman would be crazy.

This would be perfect to reunite her with Naomi and go against Jade.

I think they're building up a group that will take over and appear too powerful to be beat so that they can eventually bring back the Bloodline with every member to take over again.

...including Bianca WHIPPING bitches with that loaded braid weapon. Ohhhhh the possibilities are endless.

This was Dope AF, I really enjoyed this.

WWE really stepped TF up

I bet Becky joins Seth, Heyman and Bron in this new Dangerous Alliance. Still need one more muscle, maybe Drew given his hatred of both Punk and Roman.

Also, Paul Heyman has had a number of names.

CM Punk = Best Friend
Brock Lesnar = Advocate
Roman Reigns = Wiseman

I bet he "baptizes" Seth/Becky's kid and they call him "Godfather" or whatever the Jew equivalent would be.

 :lol2:  :lol2:

Good list and I can't really argue against it or your points.

I thought about Sammartino and Buddy Rodgers when making mine, but those guys were more regional greats. Not too many outside of the Northeast knew who Bruno Sammartino was.

I included Flair over Buddy Rodgers because although Flair was also regional, he had wider appeal due to touring all over with the NWA title and then being regularly seen on TBS Superstation nationwide.

Those old territories had a wealth of talent, hell I loved AWA growing up in Buffalo when it came on after Roller derby, but a Mt. Rushmore should have the biggest names in the business who also made the biggest impact.

Bruno made a big impact, in the Tri-State and Northeast but not much elsewhere.
