Naw I’m not so in the know with all the characters in marvel.. I just know that silver surfer person is connected with galacticus.. didn’t know theyre numerous surfers.. fantastic four tends to have a bad history when making film adaptations.. didn’t have the highest of hopes for this but when you say certain characters you need to come with the heat especially for their fanbase

And why does it look like shit ?
Every time dudes get upset over a female Silver Surfer in this version of the Fantastic Four I can't help but wonder about some of you dudes. All I'm saying is for a character that doesn't do much other than betray Galactus the Silver Surfer was a one-dimensional character and didn't matter if it was male or female. But when you dudes in here start acting like the Silver Surfer being female is the worst thing in the world I just get the vibe y'all want nothing but a sausage fest on the screen you'll hate seeing women and to me dudes who hate seeing women on screen y'all got something to work out maybe a closet to come out of.
Movie looks good, looking forward to it.
Only gripe is I Hate the design of the silver surfer, and before the male feminist grab their pink pussy hats and #metoo signs I mean the DESIGN of the surfer, I have zero issue with it being a female, I don't like the way the face and hair look and the CGI is a bit underwhelming, especially since we've already seen a silver surfer done literally perfectly from look to voice(albeit in a shitty movie.)
I can't speak on how she looks cuz I'd like to wait to see how she looks in the movie itself. I've been deceived all too often by trailers to make judgement there. As for who asked for her, I can't be mad at them for trying different routes pulled directly from the comics. Not every movie or show needs to only follow one path. Hell no one asked for Guardians of the Galaxy and that turned out to be one of the best series in the MCU. Sometimes digging deep in the storyline crates can result in great movie results no one expected.

They went with the classic look for the 4 , why not give us the classic Surfer?

I'm gonna wait til I see the movie to fully judge how Silver Surfer looks. Trailer might not be doing her justice and we still haven't seen her action scenes yet. Those might end up being epic.
There's definitely some weirdos who just want a sausage fest like you mentioned, no doubt about it. But I think the majority of people who bitch just want to see the characters from the source materiel they love done properly and accurate before we get other versions on the big screen. I personally don't care about it being female but I do think the design is poorly, if it was me I would have had her be bald like nebula just have her body and voice/face be femenin. The hair looks weird and doesn't work as much as it does on the page of a comic still image.
To play devil's advocate, if they gave us classic Silver Surfer first and then went w/ the female variant afterwards, dudes would complain like hell about it as well. Exactly what they did with Jane as Thor. It's a lose lose scenario. Not saying that's how you'd go about it but we've seen this unfold exactly like that already. I don't have issue with them going this route cuz I already know it's not the main timeline MCU universe so variants get a pass
They could definitely improve before launch, as we know marvel works their special effects departments into near insanity and to the last day possible lol I'm just speaking specifically from what we have seen.
