OK, now before pandemic was a covid vaccine required for a transplant? This seems odd. I mean, I'd personally say fuck it and do it, but it is curious that all of sudden you can't get transplant because of a vaccine that didn't even exist four years ago.

Took a minute to rethink what I said. While I'm not someone to recommend the jab in general for a generally healthy person, I always said if you have compromised health or elderly, I would recommend it for that group of people and clearly needing a heart transplant puts him in that group. I was looking at it from a padding the bill standpoint which a lot of hospitals do and did during pandemic because it was covered by health insurance and they get more kickbacks from the feds for doing so.
